I think it looks fantastic! Nobody expects an SK2000 to look new and from a distance, you cant see the blemeshes. I'd wear that helmet in a heartbeat!

Unfortunately, John Brown is retiring, and they are not sure what will happen to the company. I just squeaked in with my glove and pants order, but the leg pads would have taken too long. Will miss them and hope they make a return back to production.

Right call to listen to your body… I had tunnel vision once after a mild concussion and my drive home after the game wasn’t pleasant. I should have asked my teamates for help, but didn’t want to bother them. Thanks for posting the video.

<3 Glad to see you post this brother. Like you said, you have some unique stuff! you're setting the example for all of us by taking your health seriously. You've got some great friends there giving you a great message, those are good folks. When I was in Midget one of the coaches from the Vipers would come out and run us through some drills. Got to wear their eggplant practice jerseys, it's always been one of my absolute favorite designs.

Oh my gosh those gloves and that combo are beyond gorgeous! Man sorry you are not feeling 20 years old right now. Not sure if this will help you, but that tunnel vision thing was happening to me when I was taking a certain blood pressure medicine. My doctor reduced the dose and everything was much better.

When did the block stop changing sizes’? No answer anywhere on the internet. With those 50’s descriptions, it looks the same size today, besides the curve and hand protection.

Have you tried a Billy Smith style Jofa, CCM, or KOHO helmet with the HM30 without the chin guard? Pete Peeters rocked the look with the Caps as well, that might be fun to try out. My Gm21 trapper had plastic and felt in the pocket but eventually the plastic would get cracked and slowly become two pieces. That was THE glove back in the day. Love the old gear, and the time when every goalie had his own style. Sadly it’s never coming back.

The GP95s came in S,M,L, XL and XXL too. Same as Bauer sells today for pads. Ironically those Cooper sticks were not feather lite at all. I like the break angle of the GM31 glove. Plus it looked pretty rad.
