The Forest is one of the most strange games I've ever played, I love how the experience is actually as fucked as it was for me and womble (and probably everyone that played it) this game had so potential but kept fucking up badly out of nowhere, you would be happy landing a headshot on a cannibal just to another begin to wander around randomly because the pathfinding is horrible, you would get excited by reaching the bottom of the sinkhole for it to have nothing interesting, just the dumb machete after I already had the katana. And of course the audio being the absolute worst in the history of gaming, I played with a friend and sometimes just me or just him would hear some of those random echoing screams, and the absolute worst, the god forsaken bats, It's baffling to me how the fuck they released this game with the bats so FUCKING LOUD. A really strange experience filled to the brim with ups and lows, many lows.

I was flabbergasted with the Devil theory. Womble you have out done yourself. I at first thought you were reaching, but then as you listed of the clues and and added each brick perfectly on top of each other, and pointed out the way the island behaves and the environment lines up. I truly enjoyed this essay and will never get rid of these goosebumps. I also watched your Sons of the Forest streams and was shocked with the alternate reality or future reality cutscene. What disturbed me is what if by giving humanity the ability to travel space and time and the effects of the material. And also the boss fight with Timmy. That thing before Jianyu. Was that a demon, were those giant red guys devils sent onto earth to ensure the work of the king of Hell is happening, that they continue to feed him. Were those rich people split in two, or were they replaced by the mutants in the phase shift and sent to Hell? There are so many questions and I understand now why you went insane😂😂. In summary, well f###### done Edit: another theory is what if Hell is a Alternate dimension influencing this plane? I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts on these questions. I realize I might not have made a lot of sense or you could be uninterested.

Honestly after watching all of Soviets Baldurs Gate 3 play through I a can easily deduce that reason he is “superfluous” is because he’s an idiot who pays no attention to managing his stats, equipment or even his abilities in battle. I get he goes for the “I’m an idiot” comedy act but that play through really hammered home that he does it because he has no other choice as he is a colossal moron.
