These vocals don't sound off-key to me. They sound quirky and playful. I guess Audrey's character has much to do with them sounding like that. The lyrics are pure genius. Hail Neige/Audrey/Fursy/Winterhalter!

yeah this is kinda just like old katatonia combined with post punk and shoegaze. I wouldn't call it genius, but they do have an amazing sound.
