The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2024 list has been announced.
This year, the Spanish restaurant Disfrutar has taken the first place.
The chefs of this restaurant, Eduard Xatruch, Oriol Castro, and Mateu Casañas, previously worked together at the legendary El Bulli restaurant. El Bulli closed its doors permanently in 2011, but they have carried on its legacy.
And today it’s the best restaurant in the world.

    I had the fortune of dining here a few years ago back when they had two stars. I just wanted to say that they weren't giving Alexander a special tour because he's got clout. They let all their guests have a tour of their cellar and creativity kitchen. A truly incredible experience

    Alcune considerazioni. 1- Ferran Adrià è uno dei cuochi più sopravvalutati del mondo. 2- Ma è stato anche uno dei cuochi "più furbi" del mondo e si è ritirato in tempo. Ferran Adrià non fa più la cucina molecolare... ma purtroppo ... c'è qualche suo allievo che continua a proporre i "soliti piatti" della sua cucina molecolare. 3- È una cucina per quei clienti che voglio essere STUPITI. Che amano lo SPETTACOLO. Una cucina che privilegia la Forma, l'Esibizionismo Tecnico... perché lo scopo è quello di STUPIRE.

    The tasting menu at €290 for this level of cooking is dirt cheap. We recently paid €150 for one bisque, a glass of wine, and some bread in Amsterdam.

    Too many thoughts.... but I think also it's too much & for the price of 290, not sure if they are making money as I saw lots of staff & lots of ingredients & innovation... I don't see how they are still alive... anyways, also if almost everything is lab food not sure what is fresh...

    Barcelona is gorgeous but it's irreversibly lost due to mass immigration/islamification :'( (We are there twice a year). We warmly recommend '7 Portes' for old school Spanish fare and vibes. 'My Fucking Restaurant' and 'Suculent' are great too.

    I’m pretty sure the wine pairing is exclusively offered to Alex. Over 20 glasses for €600 is unbelievable good price, and they were mostly aged wines from great makers.
