Also, for 2024, the second annual TST7v7 international soccer tournament with (2) $1 Million prizes, one each for the men’s and women’s tournaments, is being held again in Cary. This event, which debuted last year has drawn soccer players, fans and celebrities from many countries around the world. You should have also mentioned that Cary has been either the safest city in the US or one of the top few, for many years. I have lived in Cary for 37 years and I plan to stay here, until I pass away. I don’t agree with this guy. Greensboro has higher property taxes than Winston Salem. During drought periods, Greensboro lacks water from their resevoirs, so water is restricted. Winston Salem gets its water from the Yadkin River, which flows from the Blue Ridge Mountains, a constant source.There are untold amounts of fine dining in Winston Salem. If you want a more cultured population, than Winston Salem is your best bet over Greensboro. I moved from San Diego Calif to Winston Salem twenty three years ago and the city gets better with each passing year!

In the professional work arena there so much back stabbing in Greensboro. There's not so much of it in Winston Salem and when you do see it, it is from outsiders who come to Winston Salem. Greensboro has high crime and poor race relations. Winston Salem has a growing homeless problem.

Me, my husband and kids are planning to move to Greensboro this summer form FL. Its super expensive here and rentals and home buying have skyrocketed! Wages are low. Overpacked and over populated and traffic is now horrendous. We are financially stable but want nice easy living. We don't care about nightlife, just being close to shops like Target, Walmart, Burlington, grocery stores, parks, bowling, skate rinks, restaurants etc. What are some nice culturally diverse neighborhoods for families that are relatively safe and renter friendly? We dont plan to buy for another year or so.

I left Rock Hill 20 years ago and regret it every winter.

I live in sc here.. born and raised ... Never actually ever came across this type of group. I went to a 50% black and white school. And as an adult in the work force work with about the same dynamics. The African American community here is equal. We have several other african American family's that farm right along with everyone else. Proud of my state.
