Why would my zz plant’s new growth shoots dry out? This spring there were four new shoots. The first grew and opened, however the rest eventually just dried out. 😞

Got mine from Ikea, does ok and puts out new leaves regularly, I do need to watch it closely as mealy bugs love it.

I’ve had one for 4/5 years. It has never flowered and has grown very slowly though i did neglect it and it’s also super rootbound but I’m scared to mess with the roots and have it get root rot.

I have a zz with yellow leaves. The roots aren’t rotten and the soil is dry so I guess I haven’t watered enough in this warm weather. Should I cut the yellow leaves off at the bottom of the stem? Tks

Wow! Like...WOW!! This was amazing for me! It's so perfect! Grow the roots before you even cut it...it's genius! Thank you so much! My Silver Sword is not happy and no matter what I've done, it won't grow. I know the only way I can start over is to chop but the thought made me shiver because I could lose the plant if a cutting doesn't make it. Thank you ever so much. My parents in Florida have had one potted outdoors for 20 years, it’s never flowered

My bird of paradise has had the same 2 leaves for a year atleast. I don't know how to make it grow! And I'm surprised these 2 leaves are still there in good condition. Anybody has the same situation? What helped?

Although the money tree don't use much water adding ice wouldn't be enough water. We can see that the fallen leaves are crunchy and dry which is an indication that the plant is thirsty. Thanks for this video I always wondered if the ice method works

The BOP will split its leaves also if it gets high winds . they split their leaves in order to not be pulled completely out of the ground. Its self preservation ! ❤ So if the plant is outside, they will split to save themselves ! What's not to love !! ❤❤❤

Full sun where we live is different from where they originate. ALWAYS slowly adjust your plant to more light unless it’s already grown outside
