It doesn't matter how many rides they have or make when every time we go the rides are shut down or have to stop for maintenance... The quality of the park that we go to seems to drop every year from employees to the rides

Monster Hunter has historically had collabs with Universal Studios Japan with the release of some games. Going to the parks gave players exclusive in game items, and they've also had multiple seasonal temporary attractions. Monster Hunter the Real in 2017. A VR walk for Iceborne's release in 2020, which they're bringing back this year for MH's 20th year anniversary. I don't think something like MH would have mass appeal in the US, but I dream of them having a fully themed MH area in USJ someday. ;-;

This ride was lame and boring. I rode it in it's first year. I don't get it. Just a collection of movie moments. Rides need a strong,story (Tiana's Splash needs one) to follow with some villain or pending disaster to overcome (again, Tiana's Splash needs that too).🤔🧐🤓😎

I don’t feed in to fear based decision making. I base my decisions on facts and historical outcomes. History tells me that visiting an amusement park or attraction within the first year of installation and/ or opening will cause you to wait in long lines and deal with operational failures in real time. For this reason, I’m delaying booking my trip to EU until June 2026 at the earliest. And I might delay it all together until they introduce express pass for Helios Grand Hotel guests. My plan has always been to stay at HGH and go to EU with express pass. If that isn’t offered anytime soon, then I won’t be visiting any time soon. Even at Disney, I don’t visit without staying onsite and or purchasing Genie+ and using VQ. If Universal only opens EU with standby lines without a reservation system or skip the line access then they will not be getting my out of state money and they can continue to cater to locals. I’m not flying to Orlando to stand in lines in 100degree heat. I have always been willing to pay to skip the lines, and in order for Universal to recoup their investment they need to ensure guests willing to pay for a VIP experience get it.

I love animal kingdom because of the animals so I would go there. I love Disney because I get sick on rides and I can do more things at Disney vs.universal. But despite my sickness I’m going to do everything at epic and enjoy it at least once but I think I would go back to Disney my whole life but most likely not universal

For everyone seemingly defending keeping orcas in captivity, it should be telling that they almost never attack humans in the wild and there’s been numerous attacks in captivity including multiple at seaworld. Wanna talk more numbers, seaworld has killed 44 orcas that we know about

The problem is while timeshares are booming in the US, they don't pay internationally anymore. Alot of Europe has greatly lost interest in timeshares, despite american interest still being on the incline. Now, that's not a complete turnoff since the American market is still super lucrative, but it is a factor Universal would want to consider. Aside from all that, I don't think universal is going to thrive by outright copying disney, and entering every sector disney has its hand in. Especially considering Disney has been facing a collapse in recent years.

The need to stop hiring certaint types of people. There is a saying when you start to hiring certain types of people the company starts to go down.

There will absolutely be a learning curve for the new park of at least 12 months. It will be filled with a staff that has never worked in that park before. Many of whom will have never worked in a theme park before. All 3 Universal Orlando parks are going to have some operational issues when it opens. The older parks because they will be losing senior staff to the new park. Overtell all the parks will have a much less experienced cast. That said there are some things you miss out on if you wait with new theme parks. Ride features especially on ambitious rides tend to get cut early on. You could make a whole video on ride features cut from attractions within months or years of the attraction opening. Often because the rides are so ambitious and have so many moving parts, the cool feature they planned caused more headaches than it was worth, or simply can't be fixed without shutting down the ride entirely for months.

Honestly the idea of Mario at Epic Universe, Zelda at Islands of adventure, and Pokemon at Florida make sense. That way Nintendo fans have to be spread out against all 3 parks in the resort to get everything but, could also be potentially satisfied with either one. These are all byfar the most popular Nintendo Ips and all offer great options for theming and items. I expect we wont be getting any other Nintendo lands but they will be easter eggs referencing other properties, such as the hidden Pikmin that appear in Super Nintendo world. Kirby Cafe exists in Japan so maybe they would open a location in The Resort somewhere. They unfortunately for fans of those ips wouldn’t be much more than that though

While that theoretical Pokemon land would be huge, its also worth mentioning we are talking about Pokemon. They could EASILY theme the entire resort around Pokemon and it would be a complete success. We might see a Pokemon land that large

I used to love going to 6 flags, but my last time going was very nerve-wracking and expensive!!!

the fact that dhs has horrible wait times and several high capacity shows says more about the quality of those shows (and their re-experiencability) than anything else unrelated, parts of rise being permanently relegated to "b" mode makes it a severe downgrade from what it was.

Six Flags in Arlington has significantly decreased and even Hurricane Harbor is facing disarray.
