Lombardo really is the best metal drummer ever. His technique is just worlds above the average top level guy. Much like Bonham that's because his eclectic background of many different styles, along with his creativity. Much as I like Slayer's music I've never forgiven them for how they shit on Dave. Men with no loyalty to their friends are worthless men

What amazes me, not because is Dave Lombardo, but he doesn't get distracted by the vocalist not keeping the time on the vocalization at Angel of Death. That's what makes Dave Lombardo who he is as a drummer. I went to see Testament this October 12th and his drumming never age, too bad the sound in this venue was really, but really poor, it was as if I was inside of a swimming pool listening to the music, this was in Ventura CA. I went home after the 3rd or 4th song, it was no use, hope to see them in another venue with better sound.

I'd pay to see Dave take some of the songs he wrote the drums for our on tour with a good bunch of musicians , can you imagine hearing the best slayer songs of Dave's , some of the songs from the gathering ,then some grip Inc songs ? I'd seriously love to see it and I'd pay very good money , I'd rather see this than the upcoming " pantera" reunion .
