It does feel a bit light on things to grind on. I do prefer COD’s camo challenges. I’m hoping they add more grindable content to the game or I’ll probably get bored once I unlock everything.

From what I’ve been seeing on leaks there is mastery camos I think 3 in total? And they plan on adding more every other few seasons I think along with a couple new weapons each season with maps and game modes. Once season 1 starts it’ll feel more fleshed out with stuff for sure

There’s gotta be a way to get that fixed. I know some people were having problems connecting to XDefiants servers and had to contact support what they did for those people I have no clue though. I’m sure they would get you fixed when you contact them or at least get the ball rolling to fix the main account!

@@procarson I have told them its been like this since release of xdefiant they said they were gonna look into it but nothings happened my friend got his account back but mine still doesn’t work and i have so much stuff like black ice’s on siege and like 700k tokens on crew 2 which i bought its actually annoying not being able to play with my friends because i’m not ranked on seige on my other account or even have anything on any ubisoft game :/

@Hxrley_Quinn I would definitely send a follow up email saying hey I’ve heard nothing about my account(which you probably already have done). That’s sad to hear I’ll keep my fingers crossed you get everything back and hopefully soon! No telling why it’s taking them so long.

@@procarson I did they asked if i had another device to play it on which i told them yes i tried on my Pc which works fine its just all my friends play on Ps5 and they don’t use discord so i can’t play with them or talk to them because they’re all in a playstation party so its either i play with no audio and listen to my friends or just play alone which kinda sucks considering we usually run ranked R6 🫠

@Hxrley_Quinn if they can’t make a discord account and play with you through discord that’s just cringe on there part. 2 of my friends I play with use discord through their PS5s and it’s not that much of a headache for them and it works pretty well

I’ve seen a lot of people say the same thing about it being rough at times or none existent at all. Idk if reverse s curve is THAT broken for the aim assist but that’s what scump uses and a lot of people he plays with use as well.

Kinda tied with the MP5 and M4, arena is always fun to play but I’d have to give it to Nudleplex. I don’t really have a least favorite map but it would have to be Mayday prolly. Libertad is prolly the most annoying because of her healing ult only because she can pretty much always out heal anyone’s DPS

In my opinion it’s not supposed to okay like cod. The movement is definitely different with the sliding and bunny hopping players do. I personally like the maps they feel like old 3 lane cod maps and aiming long range is a little rough it other than that I think it’s fine. But that’s your opinion and I completely respect it🫡

Well there was reports of around a million players within a couple hours of launch(how truly accurate that is I couldn’t truly tell you) but if half of that tried to get on the servers at once it’s understandable how they could have broken with that many people.

I loved cod for years. Every game they dropped I picked up day 1 no matter what but the enjoyment I get from XDefiant is insane. The kinda of enjoyment I haven’t felt in years with cod. I don’t think it’s a cod killer but I do think it’s finally some good competition for it.

I’ve looked into it and the only thing I can come up with is that it was from the Ultimate Founders Bundle. I bought it before I opened the game for the first time and once i logged on I had it unlocked🤷‍♂️ when I look at the bundle in game it didn’t have that skin apart of it so I’m honestly confused myself. It’s not in the battle pass either and I’ve looked into it. It’s called the Masquerade for Singa

With new information I can confirm it’s apart of the Ultimate founders bundle it is not displayed in game for some reason

I may and or may not have bought the most expensive founders bundle and it came with it🫠 I’m not 100% sure if it’s locked behind that specific bundle or if it is apart of the cheaper ones as well but I’m gonna assume it’s the most expensive bundle sadly. Although buying it did unlocked almost everything at level 1 and I’m level 42 so for me it was worth it completely understandable if others don’t wanna spend that much money on the game!

Okay so the more I looked into it I cannot find any CZcams video about it. It’s called Masquerade and it’s for Singa. I haven’t done a ton of research but so far I can’t exactly find it anywhere and it doesn’t show him in the Ultimate Founders pack but I bought it before I even opened the game and I had it before I played my first game. I’m sorry couldn’t give you a better answer I’m a little confused myself🫠

@Ampraa okay another update I found it💀 on XDefiant Twitter account it shows you everything you get with the ultimate founders pack which includes the skin you’re talking about. Why it’s not displayed in game i have no clue. Was posted on May 22nd

Couldn’t agree more. It is an fps but it’s not trying to be like Cod. It is similar due to the fps category but it is definitely different and I love it and it’s amazing to me. It needs some work but I acknowledge that and they do too.

Skill based matchmaking is broken, turn it off in settings and you'll get loads of games

It’s been fixed now I haven’t turned it off and same day the game launched it was fixed! I’m pretty sure the game launched with no skill based match making

I was definitely expecting the servers to struggle on launch but most hyped up games severs don’t do well at launch in general💀

They saw the money they could make and went for it. That’s the only reason they make any decisions now a days is money based. What is going to maximize profits? I really think that’s why the exotic shop/shards became a thing to make it easier for the entire community to buy something they want. For some people, it’s an outrageous price, for others it’s not a problem at all and they are happy it’s only around $40. Once EA sees how much they make off this and the positive feedback from half the community over cosmetics of all things this will get a lot worse in the future.

I feel like that was the goal with these recolors though. For everyone who looks back at what they missed wanting one of their own cool reactive skins. Like I said they are dope skins and on paper $40 isn’t an awful price but it just isn’t for me. Anyone who buys it I respect their decision🫡

That is the most logical thing to do because it actually works with sports games can agree. I remember playing 2k games and thinking seeing the ads while playing on the court it just made it feel more real. Along with the customizable shoes, gear etc. Still not 100% sure if this will happen but anything that brings in money they consider lmao.

As much as I hate Fortnite now they do have really great cross overs with different games shows and so on. They do their events very well. The final fantasy even was cool but it took over pubs for way too long and the post Malone event brought us three strikes but that’s really it on the apex side.

The fact that they made it worse on the switch is impressive. I know it’s prolly a lot harder for them to get it to work on it due to Nintendo being a little behind on hardware but still making it worse somehow??? Hopefully they’ll get it fixed for you soon!

I was thinking about the subscription based tiers that way than can ramp it up even more lmao. I love the idea of in game tournaments that actually reward players for winning and playing top 3. Give them a prize pool of items to win like you said Ps plus, Xbox Gamepass or in game currency like shards or regular coins THEN it’s more understandable if they try and implement this change. If it truly benefits the player base okay I’m open to listen to what they have to say but it is EA so I have my doubts anything they do is for our benefit, only theirs and the shareholders.

Supposedly they can drop in apex packs . Not a clue how many you’d get in a stack or if it would be the entire pack itself but I haven’t seen anyone open shards yet.

@@procarson yeah I opened 100 packs, just to see if it was true that they would drop in packs. but I didn't get any. so I'm guessing it's like heirlooms where it's a chance of dropping or you need to open a certain amount. and I didn't get any shards

@@procarson it does, even if it was the same chance of getting a purple in a pack it would be so much better for an idea and even business model for ea. idk this whole thing was launched wrong and I hope they learn from it

@nosam2474 with the little positive feedback they’ve seen this will continue more than likely. Like you said hopefully they make improvements to unlocking shards in packs and give us events to get them but right now it is not looking good.
