Well done brother Trey. I know it was hard, but the LORD strengthened you. I could never listen to RM except when he prayed and testified at Charles Stanleys' funeral. Yet my heart has heaviness for this congregation. The LORD will sustain you all. We all need to remember no sin is worth its consequences. This reminds me of David. God used RM to build that ministry. Yet an unthinkable sin tainted his part in it.

I'm 66 yrs old, abused by a priest and several other men I trusted as a child. None of those men were EVER held accountable. I still suffer. It affected my intimacy with my husband who is a good, moral man. It never really heals on this side of heaven. I'm making peace with it. Wake up Church! Your too big, too much money. Bells, whistles, coffee bars. Money and power are corrupting the world...church included. Jesus would not have done church this way, I don't believe.

Gateways influence will subside over the next 20 years plus mirroring the 20 years its taken for Robert and the Lord to build up the church it will take 20 years for the church to dwindle down to as low as 50 people and possibly most probably eventually fold, this is the price the church will pay for dishonour and condemnation and allowing a political spirit to dominate its thinking and decisions. Its election year folks! Robert was advisor to Trump, the church has handled this appallingly. I'm ABSOLUTELY in favour of Morris's restoration in light of his commitment to accountability, humbling and his commitment to his marriage. This issue was dealt with 35+ years ago, no charges were brought forth and i believe its Gods grace and the power of remorse and repentance that has kept Robert safe from what is a cruel and highly disengaged from causality justice system in America. It was awful what he did but its awful what we all did that put Jesus on the cross. There was no need except for bitterness and cash for Cindy to resurface this when clearly it's all about the moolah. The church has got this wrong. Robert is loved and forgiven, Cindy needs help too. Jesus is bigger than this and clearly the church needs ALOT more wisdom in dealing with what is a complex and multifaceted issue. I'm not partnering with condemnation on any level, Robert you are dearly loved and completed an incredible ministry for now. Your voice has not been muted and you are clearly a friend of God. take care 🙂

Since the 12 year old who is now 54 years old, when she was 17 years old told someone, what happened to her and that person told her to tell her parents, she, didn't instead tell her to call the Police and when she herself at 17 years old told her parents and they didn't call the Police that seems to say that the offense wasn't such that the Police needed to be called.

We need to pray for all concerned.. including each other! I feel sadness for the church here, also the Morris family and the lady who came forward. Everyone is grieving here.. I say we need to pray for Robert Morris as well.. because that is what God wants us to do. We all disappoint each other in falling sometimes, and no one is without sin! I pray, myself included to guard our tongue and seek to become closer to God these trying days.. that is where forgiveness, healing and peace will come!!! 🙏❤️

I am disappointed with this so called apology. The apology should have been solely for the victim and not to keep members from leaving the church..I found this to be insincere. God our Father will take care of He's church..A missed opportunity here,to focus on the victim.This elder got it wrong.

I am so grateful to KNOW GOD is not done with Robert Morris. His plan of REDEMPTION is not hinged upon man’s infallibility. Perhaps His Failure is a rwflextion of a bigger picture One of purpose, one of redeeming mankind. One of drawing ALL men to HImself. Let us take this time to reflect. How have I fallen short? How have I gone astray. How have I failed. Let us put down the stones, we are not entitled to throw, look to the ONLY one who is and doesn’t. Let us intercede for the mercy he longs to give. 2 Chronicles 7/14 is not for the leaders it is for me and you and all who have been called by HIs name. God’s love is more than enough to Heal the broken, redeem and restore the fallen, ( we ALL are), The world is watching how we deal with each others faults. Are we different? Do we reflect the heart of the Father. If we point the finger and back bite and devour one another we have lost our saltiness and perhaps have become part of the problem and not the solution. I encourage all read Isaiah 58:9, Romans 3/23, Matthew 23:4, Matthew 7:1-5, 1 John 2/2, Ephesians 4:32 and 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Remember the Lord, Nehemiah 4:14. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and FIGHT FOR your brothers, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes. The world is watching. Do we condemn the fallen or do we look to love, redeem and restore. And become the actual sons and daughters of Our Father. Yea let us heal the wounded redemption is not at the expense of another. It is at the expense of the Only One who is worthy and could redemptively pay the price. He paid that price so that ALL could be forgiven, reconciled with a Holy God who is LOVE and MERCY. Keep praying, keep loving, keep believing. And act accordingly. Love Covers a multitude of sins, John 13:34-35, 1 Peter 4:8.
