Beadweaving - Crystal Loops
A favourite pattern of mine. I just love how the pieces all just click together. I haven’t written this pattern up yet, so let me know if you would like me to write it up.

Remember those fun folded over blob paintings you made in primary/elementary school? Drop some paint on some paper and then fold it in half? This is the basis for the butterfly painting. In this exploration we bring the fun to adults and explore what we can do with the result. For full details, please visit Gumnut Inspirations - inspired.gumnut.net

Self leveling gel - Golden sells it or Matisse if you're in Australia.

I've seen quite a few of these done with tempura paints, but I much prefer the strength of color you get with the acrylic, here. Makes it an outside activity with clothes we don't care about, and much more fun anyway! :)

Hi, Jisa. In this case it is acrylics, the non-expensive kind that I bought for my kids to use, so I'm not 100% sure of achival quality, but I have made up some bubble paints using more expensive paints since then and am much more reassured. The paper is illustration board, probably bainbridge 80 with a little texture, but not much. You can find further info on my blog (right side, scroll down to Categories, under Projects - bubble painting), a post there also includes full instructions. Liz.
