1)Kicks should never be throw as primary attack. 2) never initiate attack always counter 3) min about 2) if you wait to counter attack the match is boring and points are taking off so not possible in sport fight. all the above works fine in a real fight not in a ring or sports match real fight: I wait for attack and have advantage if something happens We both wait and nothing happens there is no violence. it is a win/ win

This is sport Silat. The goal is to take down the opposition using basic principles of Silat that is sweep, throws, knee breaker to break the opposition balance and posture and to a certain extent lock where possible. Well, that's basically what this sparring tournament is about but be advised I'm not an expert on Silat but only know enough and generally. You have to look up the internet for more info.
