Looks like he accidentally activated 2nd Gear, only used it to enhance his Bazooka and then imagines it as JET afterwards. His mimicry of Rokushiki's Soru is just his own way of replicating what the CP9 did without prior training. And that's how he came up with 2nd Gear.

Imo kochinpa are chibi not loli and i dont find the show very good and not that entertaining. It's in your top list?. Got no issue wjth the rest just kochinpa i ddi watch fhe series but i gktta say it's not something I'd want to rewatch.

This basically shows Luffy realising this by accident. This is horrible. In the original, at least it's he's own, original idea he came up with to protect his friends from real threats, like Aokiji. Jeeez, I'm sorry, no way this is the better. Even the fact that it came so random in the og made it so much better, because the mystery still remained for the rest of the arc, making me really curious to find out how he did that.
