I Am What I Am from La Cage Aux Folles
These wellingtons sang the original ballad of Gilligan's island 1964
Thats bingo bango bongo and Bill
Great job on this, the tune was so catchy and am glad someone made a full version
This makes me so very happy❣️🫂🙏🏻☮️✨⚡️
Lol
Profound! Love it!
Ho-ho-ho!! Love it. :-))

Thanks Ed. How did you come across this?
@@Funtasaurus I subscribe, and been watching you for years.. I think it was the Fig Newton video that got me hooked..🤣
@@edreid7872 wow! Thanks! I have no idea how you found out about me but I appreciate it!
@@FuntasaurusCZcams can be a tricky thing.. You scroll through hundreds of videos, and come across someone like you.. It also helped that I found you adorable and very funny..😉
Superb LOL
This is cute! 😊
(Harvey working at a fancy diner) Harvey: Hey Ma’am, would you like your tea? Lady: What’s that you said? Harvey: I said, “Would you like your tea?” Me: Yes please. Harvey: Okay! (Slaps a letter T on her chest) Harvey: Here’s your T! Ahahahahahahahah! Lady:😐
She must have a good sense of humor or be on crack to not bolt.
There’s a performance art career waiting for you Bill!
I was thinking you'd be naked in bed (under the covers of course) with yoko
lol you nailed it Bill so funny !
Damn this is a real song? Love it
You are spot 👌 on!
laughing....wtg! I needed that! 👍👍👍
In the book "Here on Gilligan's Isle" written by Russell Johnson (the "Professor") and Steve Cox it was noted that the Wellingtons' (the group that sang the opening theme and played the "Mosquitoes") did not receive any residuals when this episode played in reruns. However, they did belong to the music union (BMI) and they were entitled to royalties for the two songs they sang in this episode. When Kirby Anderson ("Irving") called about 20 years later they found out they were entitled to as they said a "tidy sum" of money
Wow, even the Professor, who is usually such a stiff, gets so excited by the music that he joins the Conga line!
After the Mosquitoes concert on the Island was over-the Professor said "Maybe there's more to this tuneless discord than I can comprehend"
Awesome cover, and I love that video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice cover. Did you sing through a Rudy Vallée style megaphone? Or is that and electronic effect? Another fine Nez cover!
Thank you. It was an effect.
This is wondrous! How did you learn this song? This song is relentless. Do you know the Van Morrison song, “The Eternal Kansas City”? This song reminded me of that. Probably because of your affected (effective) Operatic voice. And that song is also hilarious and relentless.
Thank you. Wasn’t very hard to learn. The chords are simple.
Mrs Howell and her infamous scissors ✂️
Don’t molest me mosquito. Just let me eat my burrito. Little buddy, how about fix me & Mr. Howell a Mai Tai.
Happy Christmas, Bill! We must be 2 in 7.7 billion - quite the club, eh? Here's my take - czcams.com/video/7Qyi642B0oY/video.html

I think the Monkees would of been better choice than the Mosquitoes
They did not yet exist. And even if they had it would have been a conflict of interests since Gilligan was up against the Monkees on another network.
What a small helicopter
I would not run away from Mary Ann .
Hi Bill! it's Peter George from Backbeat , hope is going well! longtime since the old John Bull days.
Hey!!! Thanks for watching and saying hello!
That was awesome!
So basically, act like a muppet?
Yeah
Joe bishop sent me.
i always wondered about that song, if there was just those few lines, or if the show didn't want to put three songs in the episode (including the Honeybees) so they cut off the first one. Thanks for giving me the chance to hear it all. (should have been a 60's hit.)
I heard this exact music on several Perry Mason shows when somebody was listening to the radio. It was the mosquitoes music and the Honey Bee song. Instrumental.but it was on Perry Mason you know at least 10 years probably before the mosquitoes were on Gilligan's island so is that when you wrote the music ? was a public domain??
The chorus of Don’t Bug Me was written by The Wellingtons at the time of the series. I wrote the verses and bridge a few years ago. I don’t know who wrote You Need Me nor do I know if any of the music was stock music to begin with. Could you post a clip of a Perry Mason scene so there’s something to compare it to?
@@Funtasaurus you know I don't have any of it on any kind of recordedsupposed but I remember it was in two separate episodes and I'm trying to remember what it was about one of them was the episode 1 of the series of the episodes where Richard Anderson was the cop and the I think his name waslieutenant drum instead of trag you know the previous onebut the scene was a woman who was alone in her apartment she was all freaking out about something and she was listening to the radio and it was all I think at first I recognize the honey bee song and then I recognized he's a loser I it was the other two songsbut for the life of me I can't remember the guest stars of the show or much of the plot cuz I got so excited that I recognize the music I thought that was so cool I thought wowbut I love the mosquitoes episode of is my all-time favorite Gilligan's island I thought it was one of the most endearing of all the episodes and I thought everybody was just great I thought the choreographed of these a loser was just one of the pcorniest cutest things I've ever seen I thought was just hilarious and I thought a coordinated these guys are I just I just love the episode.one of my favorite parts was when they were listening to the honey bee saying and just their way they demoted was just us I loved it I loved every minute of that episode.
You nailed it dude ! I'm laughing my butt off !
This version is way better than the original Baltimora version (and that was a great song).
Thank You!
i'm agaist it to!
A two man helicopter dropped off a 4 man band and their equipment. Uh, okay.
Gotta admit, that was a hell of an impersonation of Harvey.
The Beatles. Dance guys.
After "Rescue From Gilligan's Island", the next tv movie should have been about the Skipper searching out the members of this group so he could beat the hell out of them for not telling ANYONE that were 7 people still left on that island 15 years before.
That goes for Harold Hecuba, Eva Grubb, Tongo the Apeman, and a few others as well.
Jonathan Kincade must have really been worried--he would have been charged with attempted murder for trying to kill Gilligan for sport!!
How did the band play this song when the island has no electricity.
MTV unplugged.
The professor wasn't the only genius on the island obviously.
Merry Christmas Bill..💓
I want everyone in America to wake up to this on their screens. Also to find masks of these faces hanging in the hall closet, by the washer and dryer in the basement, and the tool shed out back. Seriously great music production, too.
