Just watched another incomplete video from someone who made a full segmentata out of aluminium to reduce weight. Since you used steel it got me curious how much weight we're talking about here.
Usually it weighs about 10kg, but as it’s thinner, I’m guessing probably about 7kg

very nice armour im going to make my own. making a prototype first then blue print it finally make it. i like the nylon idea. hope to see more in the future. i will hope fully be able to post my own and try to help others with this.
I'm looking for ways to protect legs for paintballing, will this work?
Personaly this type off material will not offer any good prottection if . Where to make protective gear. I would take some foam matting for camping and some flat vinal strapping some click lock buckels and make some armor reminiscent of ODST like in the halo universe and alway where a cup. Its easy to cut you use a heat gun to shape you can always attach it to old clothinv that you dont like.this is the best part its dense and will protect. You wont get bruises ode welts if you get hit in the coverd areas.

How did you make your forge? I'm having trouble getting my forge hot enough to get the metal to a yellow color like yours.

Hello, you mention on your video. Add something else than fiber glass in addition to improve strength across Horizontal as well as vertical.

all you need is a mesuring tape or a yard stick its all in mm if you change the hight it atomaticaly changes the width to compinsate...

I found the armor on amazone it was real flimzy and had it laying aroung so I reinforced it with fiber glass resin. and put some buckles on it

Yes i did. I have see'n a plastic set online that also comes with a back piece as welll thinkin of picking one of thoughs up and making a new set.

I used resin and fiber mat from auto store.be care full with how much you use you can make it to heavy to wear for long periods of time. ok
