Imo an all time of hers, gorgeous song in spite of the butchered Nihongo and bizarre enunciations (part of the Tori experience). How come Torie plays this one so seldom? Is it written too high for her voice now? Or was it just never prepped and designed for live?

this version is gorgeous, i feel like Scarlets Walk is not a complete 10 because she added drums to some songs that were unnecessary

Stunning song. It drips with Pele's style/energy. Burns, rather. I understand the album already had enough ballads, but it really should have been a bee-side back in the day. It saddens me that it wasn't.

She is a lot more free without the orchestra on this track. She really expresses the song in a lot more of a free way, true to her emotions on the day. As opposed to thinking about the conductor and team of people backing her up.

(Well I'm not 17, but I've cuts, on my knees) 😊 literally the day I found out I was pregnant with my daughter..in Early Feb 1992 here in Melbourne, Oz 🇦🇺 I saw her later that year when she came here 2 wks after I had my li'l Scorpio girl. It was the 1st & only time I left her to go out, for years!! (With my mum). I was leaking everywhere by intermission, so donned 2 very distinctive wet patches on my shirt, lol. 😂 DIDN'T CARE! I was at TORI! I'd just turned 17 on the Equinox. L.E was my 'Pregnancy Album' & by utter fluke, of all songs..from many albums, from quite a few artists..I had playing during 11hr labour..she was born to *Mother* !! When L.E was playing for the 5th/6th? Time, lol!! 😍 When she played that at the concert, I lost my shit!!!! Was bawling! 💖💖💖 I still should've been pregnant as she was due on the day OF that concert, but I got my friend I went with, who was there when I had her, to get Tix regardless. Didn't care if I went into labour during the concert.. nothing was stopping me going. Ahh.. beautiful memories. I saw her every time she came to Melbourne (not enough!! 😭) & the last 2 times were with my daughter. On her 14th birthday! (American Doll Posse) & again on or for my b'day, Sep '2yrs' later I think? & again a long time ago.. 7yrs this year maybe for my daughter's 21st. If she's been out since,(????) I've missed it! 😭😭😭 *Where & when was this?? It seems like it must've been fairly recent..a few yrs max? Was it for Native Invaders maybe? Caught a Light Sneeze has never been one of my favorite Tori girls. I often skip over it when listening to BFP - not a bad song, by any means, but it just never spoke to me...until attending the Halloween show. The haunting intro (improv?) contextualized the music in a surprising way, and absent the studio gloss, placed tori's voice and keyboards into high relief. the resonance of the live sound helped, too. Now, decades later, Sneeze is one of my preferred Tori girls. Anyway, thanks for posting!
