when I first cane to OZ you were frowned upon if you drank wine. Remember asking for 2 bottles of Septets Shalambar burgundy and got strange looks from the laddies in the Bottle shop. My land lord explained that in Sydney only Gay men and alcohlics drank wine. I brought my Bialetti coffee machine with me, only to find that it was impossible to fin coffee. Oliveoils was ok if you bought a bottle in the chemist shop.the list goes on and on, but fortunately things have changed for thee better. I came from Chile via the UK
