This "osoto gari" is just a Irimi Nage variation
Osoto otoshi, Irimi nage.. whatever but thank you so much Henry! You are the wisest and best 🙏🙌🏼
@@EnergiaMartialArts I mean it seems to be both. I've done variations of this move in judo and bjj. Irimi nage is actually a term for a aikido move o soto gari is a bjj move. I think my comment sounded like I was trying to correct you. That wasn't my intention. You are actually right that this in the judo world is o soto gari. I think o soto gari and irimi nage are just variations of the same thing.

actually it is very true. Whenever I add slight rotation to my foot lock I get immediate tap. you actually attack more area with rotation compare to concentrated area with pressure.

Thanks! So here I say “I ebi myself..” ebi is a basic move in jiujitsu and grappling also known as shrimping or hip escaping. You’ll find it when you look for it on CZcams like bjj ebi or shrimp. Hope it makes sense! Osú
