I bought this mower off of FB market place. It only cost me $400 but I feel ripped off. The guy told me it just needed a starter. Upon intial review it had the wrong battery then the soleniod was bad and then the engine wouldn't turn over easily and 3 of the 4 tires were bad and then the steering linkage needed fixing and I still have to replace the operators console since it is broken. All in ...

Previously I had gotten a JD D 105 and it was not driving. After installing the Variable Speed Pulley in Part 1 and doing a lot of deck work. I am now completing the deck by assembling it and installing it. And let me tell you the mower looks great. All though she is not at 100 %, she like to shake when the deck is engaged. But like always I will find a fix for it. It'll just have to be in anot...

LG WM2101HW Front Load Washing Machine Won't Turn On Main Control Board Replacement

My 11 year old front load washing machine quit on me in the middle of its wash cycle. I tried resetting the computer but it did not work. My only options were to call an expensive repair man or go buy a new washer/ dryer set. But then my light went off and I decided to tackle the job all on my own. I'm sure glad I did because it only took a fraction of the cost and a little bit of time. I hope ...
Never Change your Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid again ( 2006 GMC Sierra ) FREE AND CHEAP FIX

Once again the dreaded check engine light was on. This time I took it to ABC auto and they quoted me a price of 42.99 for the Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid. I injected it with Marvel and reset the check engine light and drove around town. Lo and behold the light has no...

    So Im in the process of replacing mine, I notice on the new set there is a hex shaft, when the two pieces are put together, the upper does not spin, they lock together as and spin as one piece. This might be correct, if it is what is the point of having a bearing on the shaft?

    What the heck kind of a world are we living in when you take your equipment to a repair shop and they say, ehh, that things not worth fixing.... this country has gone to pot 😢 I took my engine to a local shop for a simple repair and he kept it for a month no call nothing, I told him to just keep it 😅

    Great video!! What are the initial driving symtoms before the transmission pulley fails? I have over 200hrs on my JD130 lawn mower. I just replaced the main drive belt. I have noticed there is less and less power while going forward or in reverse. When I raise my foot off the gas pedal it seems to regain some power but not much it then gets slower and slower. Would the transmission pulley be a likely culprit?

    • @danm400
      @danm400 Před 4 měsíci

      @richardw4132 mine just failed at 201 hrs. That little screw broke or fell out and the metal cap disappeared in my field. When you say "less power", do you mean less speed? The short belt around that pulley can wear out and cause less top speed. But try this: Take a blow gun and try to clean every bit of grass off the top of the trans. From all angles. It builds up under that pulley and in the linkage. When my top speed slows down, that always helps.

    Bad idea! This engine as build, is designed to run at a maximum RPM of 3600. Running faster than that, can cause the ignition magnet to come off of the flywheel doing irreparable things to the engine! This happened in my case. The glued-on magnet came off of the flywheel and broke the coil and its cast mountings, loose from the engine! Now I am SCREWED!

    First off - great video! - just finished reinstall and am doing my first run. Next - dude you must have gorilla grip fingers! I ended up carefully using a pair of small channel locks. I found a slight wiggle, side to side as you pull sees to helps. Another thing that helped me get the controller to a "easier" working position was to squeeze and push in the blue plug from the back of the machine - it will let you pull the wires out of the way a bit. Again great job and thank you for postiing!

      Yeah and the engine is also designed for lawn equipment. Lol you have to make modifications like this to make it go faster. Do you think they run stock engines in nascar? No they modify them against what the factory deemed right for a daily driver. We don’t rely on mini bikes to pick up the kids at school or go to and from work. We wanna rip around and go fast. And when the engine goes out we can but a whole new engine for less than 150 bucks and do the same stuff we did to the last one because it’s fun

    • @Saneka999_
      @Saneka999_ Před rokem

      The linkage probably has too much play in the spring. The stock spring on the throttle assembly is too long and binds up. Look up bike model you have followed by throttle linkage assembly and there's a ton of mods you can do to make the throttle wider(more minute changes in throttle doesnt feel like off or on anymore), feel more responsive, and no cutting out. I've found that if you pull the throttle as hard as you can trying to go top speed it goes slower haven't modded my linkage yet been riding a dirtbike but it seems simple just didn't have any videos a few years ago. Also throttle cable replacement is a good way to see people set it up the best way
