Here is another tip for making braid hair with fibermesh. In fact, it's the same tip than when you made braids in sculpting. Use the WrapMode in Brush - Curve with the value 3 or 4. (edit: may be test with the 2 value if the repeat is to high)

Here is the continuation of my character's hair with fibermesh in Zbrush. I used Groombrush, Groomhairtoss (with a low intensity ~20 for both) and Move brushes.

Here is how I made braids with Fibermesh in Zbrush. I only used the GrooMagnet brush and the Move brush. I hope it will help. Voici comment je fais des tresses collées avec Fibermesh dans Zbrush. J'ai juste utilisé les brosses GrooMagnet et Move. J'espère que cela pourra aider.
