    Hey, just wanted to thank you for taking the time to make this video. Just fixed our 2015 Altima, that lost the sensor, and the AC stopped working. Thanks to you, and the junk yard, now we have ice cold air 😊

      I was reading about this code brother. And it shows that this code is for fuel temperature sensor. The sensor on this video is for the engine temperature/coolant temperature. Basically is the one showing temperature on your dash. If it goes bad u wont have readings at all or it will move back and forth.

      Hey there! Ok if u are talking about the small one, u can go to an autoparts and they will get one for u. They have a wall full of hoses. If u talking about the big ones, is the upper radiator hose.

      @Dalhax Před 17 dny

      @@larasgarage2021 so I'm taking about the rubber hose you put the pinch clamps back on at 10:34. I'm wondering if they have to mold it to a specific curve or if any heat resistant hose of that size would do

    • @larasgarage2021
      @larasgarage2021 Před 18 dny

      2 options. #1- u can go to the dealership and they will.have the exact same part for ur car. (Will be pricey lol) #2- go to a junk yard and they will find one for ur car. It doesn't has to be pulled from a mustang. some other fords use same part. (Make sure they give u warranty on parts so u can exchange it if it doesn't work. ) Also when u pulled the part from.ur car,there has to be a sticker with part number on it.

    This video helped me out a lot. I could only imagine taking it to a mechanic and how much they would charge me. I ordered the part online it was about $55. It was really easy to install after seeing this video. It took me like 20 minutes to install it, some advice to some advice. If you were going to replace this place, the carbon filter I replaced mine and it was super dirty AC blow strong and feels nice.🎅⛄🌬🐧

    I had to change my wheel hub, damaged the pistons just like you trying to get that god damn caliper off. Those little metal nubs on the brake pads make it a bitch. I have no idea why those nubs are on there but good grief what a pain. Now i have a fluid leak from the piston and have to change the whole caliper. Not that expensive or anything but still a pain. Theres gotta be a better way to release the caliper when youve got semi new brake pads on the thing.

    • @juanotero2607
      @juanotero2607 Před 12 dny

      That’s not normal I just damaged on of my pistons as well. The top metal ring broke off my friend is telling me as long as it’s not leaking brake fluid it’s still usable. I think the caliper gets stuck because the slider pins need silicone grease. My Cuzin did my first brake change on my ram 1500 2016 at 80,000 miles and when he removed the front calipers they came off with ease no struggle or flat head required.

    What was the symptoms that made you clean the throttle body? I did have the cleaner spray so I use some gas. It worked for a little but started the rough idling and reduced engine power.

    • @larasgarage2021
      @larasgarage2021 Před měsícem

      Check engine light on, showing the code bro. After cleaning it was all good and code went away. Side note* dont use any products that are not meant to clean Throttle body. Remember this modern cars have an electronic throttlebody. Some products might damage it. Thats why they make a Throttle body cleaner.

  • @giannie89
    @giannie89 Před měsícem

    Did that sensor work? Or is check engine light on because of the new one?

    • @larasgarage2021
      @larasgarage2021 Před měsícem

      Didn't have a check engine light because of the sensor. In this video i was working on the water pump. But i couldn't remove the old sensor from the old water pump. So i bought a new one. The OEM sensor was plastic. New one i think is copper and it does work good. Reads temperature as it should. So far after 3 months i have no codes and sensor is working good.

    My 1997 e250 5.4L had P0401. I replaced everything DPFE, EGR valve, EGR solenoid, cleaned intake ports (which weren't clogged) and none of these things made my P0401 go away. I ended up fixing it by repairing some vacuum lines that run under the van floor by the passenger seat. There is a vacuum reservoir mounted by the frame w/3 vacuum lines going into it. Fixed these lines and followed them back to the motor to make sure no more leaks. If you put a vacuum gage on the green line between the EGR valve and the EGR solenoid w/ a "T" fitting and run the motor you can watch the vacuum pressure. My vacuum gauge wasn't moving until I fixed the vacuum lines under the van. Good luck.

    Don't listen to this fool you don't use transmission fluid and you definitely just don't dump it in like that to where it's overflowing it has to be to the bottom of the inner threads the great oil can you use SEA 80 weight gear oil not transmission fluid
