The one continuing, undercurrent of these actors and networks was that Johnny Carson was not JUST a host. He was in all sense of the title, The Don. The current age of consent in Canada and a number of the states is 16 and that's in 2024, From what I've been able to find on the Internet in 1930 they did not have a legal age of consent.
