    I have an incredibly similar situation in a tiny bungalow, with four rooms coming off the hallway (five if you count the room off the lounge), including an (currently) unheated kitchen. I am very concerned about the humidity in the home, which on the baby monitor shows 88%! Though mould is only in the unheated room (kitchen). This system seems quite appropriate for me, especially as I'm struggling with condensation in the kitchen and I was going to install an extractor fan but this may sort everything out. My only concern is where to install the dry push vents and whether you reduce the size of the push air vent, or should it be 5" duct, as condensation issues are really only limited to the winter and windows?

    JESUS CHRIST loves you and you matter so much to Him! • This is the Gospel: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16‭-‬18 KJV GOD sent His only Son, JESUS CHRIST, born of a virgin, conceived by the HOLY SPIRIT, to reconcile humanity with Him. By His blood all of our sins are forgiven, and by His wounds we are healed. Jesus Christ has saved humanity (everyone that believes in Him) from eternal damnation in hell, which we all deserve because of our sins. We have all broken the 10 commandments, which is God's law. There are no "good" people in this world. The Bible says we have all sinned, and come short of the glory of GOD (Romans 3:23). If you think you are a “good” person then that means that you are morally excellent. I will ask you the following: 1.) Have you ever told a lie in your whole life? 2.) Have you ever stolen anything (even if it was small or despicable of its value) or have you ever kept something that doesn't belong to you? 3.) Have you ever used God’s name in vain? An example of this is when you get surprised or amazed by something and say God’s name. It is in vain because you use it as an expression, not because you are addressing God in prayer or talking about Him. 4.) Jesus Christ said that whoever looks upon a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart (Matthew 5:28), have you ever looked with lust? 5.) The Bible says that whoever hates his brother is a murderer (1 John 3:15), have you ever hated someone? Beloved person who is reading this: If you are guilty of these sins then, you are a liar, a thief, a blasphemer, an adulterer, and a murderer. Now you can see how guilty you are and that you are not a “good” person; you deserve eternal punishment just like all of us. as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, There is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; There is none that doeth good, no, not one. Romans 3:10‭-‬12 KJV We humans cannot do anything to save ourselves from God’s wrath; we have all broken God’s law. It is not enough to apologize to God for our actions because without shedding blood there is no remission of sins (Hebrews 9:22). Even though we cannot do anything to be redeemed, with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). Jesus Christ lived a perfect and sinless life fulfilling God’s law perfectly. Even though He never sinned or did anything wrong, He died for us, sinners; God’s wrath and justice were satisfied completely in Him. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 KJV Jesus Christ reconciled us with God. Your job is to do three (3) things. First, you have to ask God for forgiveness and repent for all of your sins. This means to turn away from your sinful lifestyle. You cannot claim be a christain and still live a sinful life. Second, you must accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. This means to put all of your faith and trust in His expiatory work on the cross (not to trust your own “righteousness” or “good works”). Third, you need to be born again. It is Written: Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3 KJV The phrase “born again” literally means “born from above”. It is a change in your heart made by the Holy Spirit when He transforms you into a new creation. He makes a regeneration in your heart making you a child of God. When He does this, you start hating sin and unrighteousness. You also start praying, reading the Bible, going to Church, loving God and living for Him alone. All of your sinful and carnal desires are extinct because you literally are transformed into a new creature. This is a big miracle! Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Please, seek God while He can be found. 150,000 humans die every day and the majority of them believe that death is far from them. Do not last another single second without accepting Jesus Christ in your life. The spirit of death doesn’t ask you any permission to take your life; he just simply takes it. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 KJV Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:6‭-‬7 KJV JESUS CHRIST IS COMING VERY SOON! God is one in being and three in person: FATHER, SON and HOLY SPIRIT. It is too perfect for us to understand. By faith we accept it. May the LORD JESUS CHRIST bless you always.

      No the exhaust radiates heat into the home. The only heat it purges is The heat to purge moisture from the wheel. A lot of heat is retained due to latent heat retention and residual heat in the wheel put back into the process air flow.

    • @EcorProBVUithoorn
      @EcorProBVUithoorn Před 2 lety

      That is a great question. The ducting was straight and smooth and there was adequate air flow in this case. The issue generally comes the bends in the ducts causing resistance so its quoted as a rule of thumb. We could have used wider ducting to reduce the back pressure on the exhaust also for longer runs or even left the duct off completely. That may sound odd but the attic space had a very good air flow from outside so any moisture transported to the attic space would have been naturally vented away at the soffit vents. In that scenario you get the most efficient drying system with zero resistance on the exhaust vent.

      There is no hard and fast rules on this. Factors of proximity to water (general humidity), number of occupants etc need to be considered. A big source of water in this instance was the cooking (only an internal carbon fitter on the cooker rather than vent to he outside) and the bathroom extractor that was only on for a very short time when the light was on in the bathroom. That meant the cooking and bathing moisture was locked into the home and could not escape easily. Also there were large windows acting effectively as large dehumidifiers but made them unsightly with a lot of condensation forming. The bedroom windows were not the only cool surface. The back of the home had a conservatory between bathroom and kitchen that attracted the water. Overall the home benefitted from a less "heavy" feeling and felt "warmer". The condensation on windows did appear when there were overnight guests in the home in winter and that was simply due to more water being present in the air. The overall size of the bungalow was around 140 sqm but if more occupant were in the home a larger or second unit would need to be considered perhaps for the conservatory area alone.

      @@EcorProBVUithoorn Thanks for the reply. Installed this 2 days ago in a very old damp house. Really looking forward to see the humidity data. Left it on lowest humidity setting and will return in a week to see the results

    In a large garage/shop application, approximately 2000 sq ft, does the dry air need to be ducted outside? Or can it just be vented from the machine back into the ambient air? Thanks

      It is always advisable to duct out to the outside air. You would only vent to a large void if you were target drying. i.e. drying a small area with tenting or other. In a larger garage the issue is generally the ingress of outside air. Once you dry the air inside as soon as you open the door the dry air escapes and has to process that air over again. Similarly, if there are leaks in the garage with holes etc it makes the job harder.

      If it is a closed container i.e. sealed then 4 hole drying is key. I. E. Dh3500 / epd200 in north America

    If I cannot vent the water outside can it be tubed into a small tank inside and then emptied when full?

      @EcorProBVUithoorn Před 3 lety

      No water is produced. There are lots of places to vent that perhaps you may not consider. see the installation page ecor-pro.com/
