So, I like you Dan, the one thing that I question is when the pan is tilted to the side to let material out. The instructions (and how I was taught) are to shuffle side to side to stratify and then keeping it level, give a longer & more strenuous side to side. Tilting it is not how the mfr shows it. I do appreciate your videos, but I think you missed it on this one. Very Respectfully, Sean

My sis was in a nursing home in Everett which introduced me to WA. I drove ST Hwy 2 and got buckets of sand to pan at home. Was told "Yes, there's gold, but it will take a lifetime to recover a tsp of it. Okay, but it's the doing and learning that is fun. My sis is now in Wisconsin, so my westward trips are done. Sure would have liked to gone panning and jade hunting on the Frasier. So, find some and enjoy for me.

I found a huge garnet deposit in the middle of my home town as a kid. Still a secret and the property is up for sale as of today. Lewiston Idaho has big honkers and nobody ever belives me until I pull out a golfball star and plop it down. Even then they refuse to belive they cone come from this town.

i find it odd that with all your gold claims you have that they are not producing that much gold..not sure on the way that you decide on which gold claim to buy ..but maybe one day you will find that one claim that in one day you will find at least 10 grams a day...lol
