Paris, France 🇫🇷 A Walk Through The Streets Of The 8th Arrondissement Of This Incredible City [4K]
An quiet early Saturday morning walk through the streets of Paris's 8th Arrondissement.
This video was filmed on Saturday 13th April, 2024.
The camera used for filming is a Sony FDR-X3000.
Paris is the capital and most populous city of France. With an official estimated population of 2,102,650 residents as of 1 January 2023 in an area of more than 105 km2 (41 sq mi), Paris is the fourth-most populated city in the European Union and the 30th most densely populated city in the world in 2022. Since the 17th century, Paris has been one of the world's major centres of finance, diplomacy, commerce, culture, fashion, and gastronomy. For its leading role in the arts and sciences, as well as its early and extensive system of street lighting, in the 19th century, it became known as the City of Light.
The City of Paris is the centre of the Île-de-France region, or Paris Region, with an official estimated population of 12,271,794 inhabitants on 1 January 2023, or about 19% of the population of France. The Paris Region had a GDP of €765 billion (US$1.064 trillion, PPP) in 2021, the highest in the European Union. According to the Economist Intelligence Unit Worldwide Cost of Living Survey, in 2022, Paris was the city with the ninth-highest cost of living in the world.
Paris is especially known for its museums and architectural landmarks: the Louvre received 8.9 million visitors in 2023, on track for keeping its position as the most-visited art museum in the world. The Musée d'Orsay, Musée Marmottan Monet and Musée de l'Orangerie are noted for their collections of French Impressionist art. The Pompidou Centre Musée National d'Art Moderne, Musée Rodin and Musée Picasso are noted for their collections of modern and contemporary art. The historical district along the Seine in the city centre has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991.

Great wee video. My sister and i were there in April on our way up to Durness from Glasgow. We had fish and chips in the chippy in the video, jeez! the best we've ever had, it was that good that we made a point of stopping off for more on our way back home lol The scenery from Loch Ness to Ullapool and up to Durness ( for anyone visiting for the first time) is absolutely stunning, and as Ive told my family and friends, stunning doesn't even touch the sides.
Thank you so much for your comments 😊 yeah I always say the same thing to people. The scenery along that north west coast is out of this world.
Cannot wait till I go back for my 19 th year 7 October
It gets to you!! I’m the same - keep going back but never tire of it 🙌🏻
When was this
This was May 2023 👌🏻
👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!
Something I noticed: plenty of litter bins, and not a single piece of litter on the streets 🤗
Yeah, so true 😀 there’s a marvellous community spirit there. Thanks for watching 👍
Why don't you focus on the shops.
Thanks for the feedback, I’m learning as I go along with all this 👊🏻
新婚旅行で行った。南半球だから12月のクリスマス近いのに暑かった
That’s amazing 🤩 yes it can be so hot there - this was in September and it was still very warm. Thanks for watching 🫶🏻
Beautiful place, first discovered it touring in the camper and loved it so much we're going back for a weeks holiday this year ❤️✌️

With you every step of the way a lovely slice of life 👍
Thank you so much 😊 a wonderfully peaceful place 🙏
Why not walk the other side , so we don't see Parked cars
I’m due back there next year so will do a couple of new videos (especially with the new Shore Street update) 👍
That was a cold day, but a walk along the front is good way to get exercise and fresh air! I'm a life-long Walton resident, and when I retired a few years ago, I bought an e-bike, started making videos of my travels, and created a CZcams channel: czcams.com/channels/Qa1eYC59gr0r6lUXBqZZ3w.html But the past few months, the weather's been too unsettled for long-distance biking, so I started making videos of rough seas at high tide! Much as you have here! I see by your channel, you're certainly well traveled! Thanks for visiting my home town! 👍🏻
Fantastic, thank you for sharing this and let’s hope the weather picks up again before too long and you can start getting back out on your bike and making more videos 👍 thanks again for your kind comments 🙏 Walton is a fab place 🫶🏻
Do you know something about the buildings you are filming?
Now and again 🙏 most of the buildings here in Haarlem (particularly the Grote Markt) date from the 14th century however there is a lot of newer architecture too which makes for interesting juxtapositions. 😊
@@relaxingwalks1186 thanks for your answer. I am Dutch and from Haarlem. My family lives there for over 500 years already. I know all the building, their name and what they are for. First you put the name Raaks on the screen and after that nothing. That is why i asked myself and you if you know what you are filming. You could put more streetnames on screen or some info about the shown buildings. I saw the Waag and the Teyler museum but other people will probably not know anything about them. Some info about the old city hall ( the former Hunting castle from count Floris) on the Grote Markt or the Hoofdwacht and St. Bavo church. The old name from the Grote Markt was 't Sant. If you look good, the Grote Markt in higher. They used the sand ('t Sant) from the canals they made ( delft) to raise the market place. Not the sand from the Nieuwe Gracht or so but from the small canals they made to get dune water transported to the city. The Bavo church is from about 1370. Are you from Haarlem?
Many thanks for this useful feedback and I’m always looking for ways to improve my videos 🙏 no I am British but love to travel and visit different places and experience different cultures. Thanks again for your comments 🙏
I worked in the great western hotel on the esplanade from 1972 to 1975 Oban was a fantastic fishing town sadly now it far to commercial and to many tourists
Amazing 🤩 I can imagine it was fantastic back then 👍 i still feel it has a nice vibe today too - a beautiful place 🙌🏻

Amazing - So much rich history and old castles in the UK 🇬🇧
Thank you.
I know that, so many people died so young. Some people did make it into old age. But not many did. All kinds of deaths happened. Plauge illnesses. In War Battles. In Fights.
There were No Emergency Services. No 999 Number Call back then.
So Much Suffering Times!
I was born in Dovercourt Bay, about a mile from Harwich in 1942 and spent much of my youth in the areas shown. I moved away from the area in 1976 and your Walkaround brought back some Happy Memories despite some considerable changes. Thank you very much.
What an amazing message to receive 😊 this makes what I do so worthwhile. Thank you so much for sharing 🙏
Go to great yarmouth. What a dump. At least in jaywick you aint got hoards of European gypsies down the back streets and druggies everywhere
I'm due a trip up there so thanks for the heads up 🫡
not relaxing with wind noise
Yeah apologies for this - I've been trying to remedy this and thought I had a solution but it doesn't always work well.

Best fish and chips there. Top lad too !
Great fish and chips, great place, great folk 🙏 cheers for watching! 👍
I don't see anyone walking about, go to Winsford in Cheshire - there's lots of non working people milling around doing fuk all all day. Shame on the local council to both areas.
Yeah - it was fairly early on a Sunday morning to be fair 🙏
As an American that hates the heat and DESPISES summer, I would love to live there.
Yeah me too. It’s such a peaceful place - you are just surrounded by beauty 🙏
Great video, I got to see all the bits I never have time to when I am there and it's so nice that you didn't add any awful music to the vid like so many do.
Thank you for these amazing comments 🙏 the aim has always been to keep it as simple and raw as possible to give you a decent flavour of the places. So pleased that you enjoyed this 👍
I was there 20 years ago... I was sleeping in the Brae Guest House... Good memories!!!
Honestly what an amazing village! So peaceful and has everything you need 🙏
What time is this walk? The place looks peaceful
It’s a great town! This was a Sunday morning 👍
You didn't actually film the deprivated parts of Jaywick.
Definitely could have seen more but you get a decent flavour of it I feel 👍
love jaywick
A fab place 👍
I have stayed in worse places than that mate.
Yeah it gets a bad name sadly but it’s an interesting place - like you say, I’ve also seen worse and the people are great 👍
Just wish certain people would put there money where their mouths are.
Every town every city world wide has benefits drug addicts its a choice i think livung by the sea would be lovely
It’s in a lovely part of the world 🙏 fantastic beaches 😀
Like this!!!
Thank you 🙏 it’s an amazing city 👌🏻I’m heading back to Oz later this year so more videos coming 😀
You missed off the worst of the residential estates but having been I also understand why.
Thanks for watching 🙏 there is definitely more to see but I feel you get a decent look at the place by walking along the seafront 👍

A great place to stop on your NC500 road trip or on the way to the Outer Hebrides 😀
I was born and grew up in Ipswich and now live in London. It's sad that the town has lost some of it's character
It’s a shame - we could say the same about many places. I’m sure things will turn around 👍 many thanks for watching 🙏
Hello@@relaxingwalks1186
