Good Evening, thank you for the videos. I just finished a .410 and your videos worked great for me. I am subscribed and getting notifications. I would like to thank you and looking forward to more from you.
My main spring looks like a wishbone not a typical spring. How do I reassemble this?
Hello, I am not familiar with the older models, I apologise I can not offer advice on this one. If you ever need advice on another model, please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you for your time and I appreciate your comment, blessings to you and your family, Casey & MariSue.
Whats new?
Lol you cut him off. I have a question for you. What ratio would you recommend for air rifle slugs ? I was told 6 percent linotype to 94 percent lead, does that sound odd.
Back off lino to 3%, you want your ammo to ride the barrel correctly. Thank you, blessings to you and your family, Casey & MariSue
Better yet---mount a machine screw with two flat washers and nuts in the housing hole. You then take a piece of 1/16" sheet steel bent to fit the counter of the aluminum circular housing (ACH)--adjust the screw so it holds the steel bracket that you made firmly againt the ACH. Tighten the nut to hold it in place.
@@5tonswguns219 Yes, remove the bottom "cap" end --it will help retain the steel strip ver nicely; but will go back on pretty tightly.
Sorry That response was to another comment, you are sharp and what a great idea. Fantastic, thank you for your time. Blessings from us to you and your family. We appreciate the time and effort you put into your idea and it is a great idea.
Thank you, there is another comment for you.

Just purchased a Stevens M 94 in 20 GA from an auction house and I'm sure it's got a Tenite stock, so this video might come in handy if I decide to replace the stock. Thanks for sharing, nice video.
That's quality time with Pawpaw she'll remember and I'm not joking. That's freaking awesome.
Thank you for the great video. I am restoring great grandpaps Iver Johnson and tried to get the spring in for a few minutes before pausing for some expert guidance. Thank you!!!
And I believe every word you said sir and thank you

Casey, you don’t know me, but I was enjoying your channel. I remember you saying that you were moving and you will not be posting any videos for a while. Well now I believe that is has been over 12 months since you have posted a video. I hope all is well with you and your family. On a separate note, I have a Catahoula and I live about 100 miles north of Sydney Australia. I would love to hear from you. Steven
We miss you too buddy, thank you. We just haven't set up anything yet! Always blessings to you and your family, love from Casey & MariSue

I think that in south america that weapon would be considered more a machete than a sword. In fact, his official designation, I think was "machete de artillería 1909" or "artillery machete 1909".
How did you get the locking lug out? My barrel opens but wont Separate so I gotta get that lug out but its not a screw out then tap like most Ive seen, its flat and flush on both sides
DO YOU HAVE A PARTLS LIST LIKE WHERE TO BUY THEM
Great job sir..thank you for sharing
during the industrial era German made sword and knife blades were exported and sold to various parts of the world where local style hilts were attached to them afterwards
In summary, don't buy this crap.
I bought a old roll, 25lbs of solder wire, came out of a radiator shop. Made a mess, mabe acid core, cleaned it up with hardwood shavings. Made a bunch of little disk, silvery looking, very hard and rings, any ideas on what it is?
Is probably 50/50 solder, isn't it. blessings bud! Casey & MariSue
Nice to see the spirit of Dave is still alive.
Lee 90801 double cavity mold blank.
caltrops in carpentry, i'll tell you that.
Have a look a mp molds
You mentioned doing casting in junior high and high school, I went to school in Tucson Az and we had a foundry class in industrial arts, of coarse that was back in 1977 I don't think very many schools in America even have industrial arts anymore let alone a foundry class!
I was born and raised in Glendale and we didn't get that! MariSue
Hi. Great video. I have a .410 version. I would be interested to know how you removed the sideways play when the barrel opens
Such gorgeous pups!
Great info thanks!
I have a 410/44 cal Iver Johnson in near perfect condition. BRUCE
Slugs can be made for a .410 bore shotgun by partially filling spent .38 Special or .357 Magnum cases with molten lead. Grind the diameter of the case rim down to match the diameter of the case, which is approximately 0.3795" diameter. Leave the spent primer in the fired cases. The spent case head becomes the tip of the projectile. Vary the amount of lead poured to leave more or less of the case unfilled to your liking. With the spent case filled approximately 3/4 full of lead, the slugs are nose-heavy like a foster slug and more accurate. Then load the cases with the open end pushed down into a three-petal wad. Insert the wad with homemade slug and push it all the way down with a dowel, just like you would any other slug. An overshot card can be glued in to seal the end of the .410 shell. Experiment with different chokes to see what works best. Happy shooting!
very good video! Well done with great details.
I could have used this yesterday.. took me almost hour and a half to do it the way a Gundigest book said to
Come on man we need some more inspiration..
They outlawed the big steel spikes that we used nailing on tar paper or foam They had a big flat head and when dropped the usually stood straight up but people on the job were stepping on them so they went to plastic heads. Wish I had a gotten a box but back then things were cool.
This is good for workpieces that are then further processed with a CNC milling machine
Mine's an oddball saw too. A Rockwell Model 9 contractor's saw with a 9 inch blade.
