I'm new to watercolors. I have a new set of water brushes. I'm going to try using them mostly. They seem so handy to use!!!

They have the new version now which includes a mixing palette in the cover.

I would love to see you use these colours for a landscape or seascape picture to see how the paint flows for these types pictures. Thank you as I was thinking of buying this set for travelling

I actually got this last week and the top lid now comes with a flimsy plastic mixing palette. I think what I’m gonna do is make my own air dry clay mixing palette sealed with varnish to replace it. I also took all the paints out of the half pans. I also plan to stain the box. Can’t wait to make it my own DIY wooden box watercolor set with my good paints in it. Have you upgraded the box yourself!?

I love my 36color watercolor wheel set because I have so little space in my table. Thanks for pointing out the difference between it and the anilinka wheels!

Brights are always better; for brights can be muted. Whereas mutes can not be brightened.

I think the 24 set suffices since you can surely mix most other colours which are included in the 48 set.
