(Removed Music Version) Military Pouch Tutorial Part 3 - Add wrinkles & fabric details in Zbrush
** Many viewers were complaining about the music in the original version was too loud, so I re-upload a new version without the music. Enjoy! **
This tutorial series will show you step by step how to make a military pouch from a sphere.
Part 3 of the tutorial will be the last one in the series. I'll finish off by adding the buckle strap in the front, sculpting some wrinkles and applying some fabric details at the end.
I coved quite a bit of topics in this video so feel free to skip to a different part as desire:
- Add stitches: 1:55
- Apply wrinkles: 3:37
- UV Master: 5:51
- Noise Maker: 9:04

Hi, do you happen to know how to snap by vertex without going to edit mode ? The problem with these method is that when you move one of the object in edit mode to snap to other, the origin of the object remain in t he same position. So basically this method is not snaping object to other object by the vertex, it only move the mesh of the object to snap by other object's vertex. So when you move the mesh it will change the origin location of that object relative to the mesh, and I don't want that. thx b4.

i thought before...fill is for filling the overshadowed part and then rim placed always at the back of the model. and in this tutorial. you put fill light at behind of the model and before that i thought its a rim light. but i was wrong. it seems like rim to me and then im confused why you add another rim at the opposite side from fill. can you explain why?

Underrated. Coming from Maya the methods in Blender to change the pivot point (or origin as it is called there) are abysmally slow. Would love to see a followup video where you snap the object with such a prepared origin to other objects, components like faces and also with axis constrained positioning - because that's another thing I find cumbersome to do in Blender compared to Maya.

There was a lot to learn in the tutorial. I was confused when using add-ons, but Carol's explanations helped me to sort things out. The add-on workflow was easy to learn because I could check it while working on the add-ons. One thing I found inconvenient in the tutorial was that the indicator that appears when you are pressing a shortcut is only shown for a moment, so I had to rewind many times to see what kind of key push I was doing. But I would be happy to hear about this again in Carol's tutorial. I am glad I purchased this tutorial. キャロル先生ありがとう!Thank U Carol Have a great day!

One thing you didn't do in this video is explain what the various lights are used for in three point lighting. I took a Audio and Video course, which explained it a bit, though I think I forgot most of the reasoning behind why three point light seems to be pretty standard. The only thing I do recall is that the fill light, if I recall correctly, is used to keep the subject's back lite up so you don't get a dark area around them on their back (or something like that). That's especially important for green screening, because darker spots tend not to key out well. The ring light keeps shadows from forming on the side of the body where you don't want them, and I think it's use to create a bit of a shadow on the other side. I might be wrong, but that's what kinda recall.
