Just recieved a set of these Garbage wheels. They look nice but man are they very shitty. The machining is terrible. The didnt even tap out holes deep enough for screws. Sending this garbage back! Dont buy them.

The wheelie bar should not even let both shocks fully compress. I suspect the max real world compression is reached far before the drive shaft hits the gear cover. Also, if the right side shock travel is limited it would cause the left front end to lift sooner, not the right. The conclusions in this video are questionable.

I want this car but I keep hearing they are outlawed in many no prep events. It's not the speed that outlaws it, I think it's the motor type depending on the class. I want one, but I'm afraid to get one and not be allowed to race. I'm building a DR10 to race which is just fine and all. But I want the Losi as well.

Can you trim the cover

Just got one of these. Out of the box the front end has no downward travel. Plenty of upward travel though. If you push down on the front of the chassis the car bottoms out. Ever notice when you put a real car on a lift the suspension drops. Consequently when you launch you get zero weight transfer to the rear. If you eliminate the travel stops in the shocks and get rid of the spacers you get enough droop in front to keep the front tires closer to the track and the rear of the car squats to increase traction. You also gain enough ride height to stop the bottoming out. I'm using 30 weight in front and 80 in the rear as well. Now when I launch the I can also steer sooner as the wheels droop downward. Yeah I'm runnin with the clutch cover notched as well

do you need to install the maxx cable and rx cable together? i seen another video the guy did not install the rx cable.. i was hoping to get a clear answer.

A flaw for sure...I removed my cover off my slash.When I saw how much dirt accumulated in it. I figure it's better not having in on vs a dirt circulating in the cover eventually working it's way to the mesh point of the gears.

I have a second body.. how do i hook that up the say way?

Crank your springs as far as they go maybe that will help i find same thing they hit way to hard could use stiffer springs probly

My lights won’t connect to app any advice

I purchased the yellow Ford truck, added a sway bar, added spacer to right rear shock, lower drag bar, removed front limiters from the shocks, played with slippers clutch finally launches some what straight on 2s, 3s no way. Finally added Spectrum AVC, which really helped, but can't be used at Sanctioned events. So now I will try removing slipper cover and see what happens? Still love the car and a blast to drive in parking lots or on the street!

Yes ,, I like my losi the most, it's very friendly out of the box , the drag slash is ok,, but not competitive against the losi, my dr10 just sits on the shelf 🤷

The shocks should be 80mm and the tires should NOT be rubbing against its ultra sexy show room floor body. Adjust the shock spring tension until the wheels do not touch the body when you press down. The lift kit is not a good idea because it WILL add more weight to the top adding to the potential of an overturn. Go Tactical. While Traxxas is well supported, I recommend a person act now while supplies last when it comes to RC or anything else these days.

I have the same bronco.... no lights yet. How many lights can you run . I have after market bumpers with lights and 4 on the roof rack. Total of 20 lights will this system do that ? Also I have a sound box can I tie that in withe system ?
