Gen Z seeking instant gratification is SUCH a boomer take, like think about it for a second, what do you really even mean? As you said, buying stuff online takes days. What else is there that genZ does that other generations haven't. I'm not in that generation, i just need to point out when people make untrue sweeping generalizations about a younger generation.

As a new Apple convert, I understand why it's annoying to see the green bubbles. Sure, okay, it means that the conversation has less capabilities as compared to when messaging with another iPhone user. But if someone is choosing to NOT message someone simply because of the green bubbles then I wouldn't want to be friends with that person. That's kind of mentality is disturbing to me. It's childish and shows they aren't mature enough to be worth spending time with. I understand the Apple tax now since switching from Android, even with the cheapest new iPhone (the SE) I immediately understood the draw to a premium brand like Apple. Wow, I am still amazed six months later. And with the debacle of Windows Recall, and knowing all of the underhanded things Microsoft does besides Recall, I ditched my Windows laptop and switched to Mac. I bought a MBA 13" M3. I get it. As a long-time Linux user (since 2002) I immediately see the appeal to Mac devices. I know Apple just announced the new AI bull, which is very similar to Microsoft Windows bull, but at least with Apple there is a much better track record of protecting users privacy. So, there's that. I'm hesitant with the AI stuff, as I don't currently tend to use it much, but as someone with worsening ADHD and ASD as I age - I find I need more and more tools to help me get through my days. Maybe the AI integration will allow me to be more productive and more capable of earning income to support myself. We'll see.

Great video before you put the Chipotle tiktoker guy in it..... It's just cringe how his brand is all about hating on Chipotle and kept riding it just to remain relevant. It's not that serious, be kind to the chipotle staff, politely ask for more portions, and be a regular (if you really like the food there) that's how you get consistent portions. IT'S NOT THAT SERIOUS, and yes I did my time at chipotle. Anyways, it's a great video overall.

My biggest problem with ads is that you are 2 minutes into a video and get an ad, then 5 minutes in and another ad, 10 minutes in another ad and this continues for the entire video! CZcams is no longer a friendly place to watch interesting stuff. Why do I say this? Well when an ad appears it skips a portion of the video. I have watched so many videos where the first ad actually cuts into the video and if you want to see that portion of the video you have to back track! Now if you watch crochet tutorials like I do, that few minutes of missed video is crucial to what you are trying to learn how to make! Also, they say if you dont want ads get premium, well thats all well and good if you can AFFORD it, but for lower income or folks on a tight budget they cant always afford 14.99 which is what premium costs on top of your internet fees. What does youtube hate poor people? Lets face it, youtube is out to make money and thats ALL they care about anymore. They are screwing small youtubers who dont make a dime due to their ridiculous rules on partnership. I used to be a partner! Then they changed how it works and now Im no longer a partner! But they are still making money on my videos! CZcams is completely FUBAR and Im actually gonna check out other video forums. Ive also reduced the amount of time I spend watching youtube.

Im 65 years old, and I dont speak or read Japanese , Korean, Russian, Norse, Chinese. Yet I keep getting recommended videos in one of these languages. Usually Japanese or Chinese. Why is an american who doesnt speak, read or understand and has never clicked on a foreign language video getting video suggestions for videos in a foreign language? CZcams is FUBAR.

look if you're strapped for cash I get it, but do you really need 2lbs of food in a meal? I'd rather them serve me the accurate ~1lbs serving a bowl is already like 1k calories, by that logic you were getting well over 2k calories in your 2lbs burrito with the 165 cal tortilla and rip if you got chips, queso, or guac. You can split it, sure but $10 seems totally fair for a clean 1k calories of food, just my 2 cents.

I deleted tik tok because it was addicting, I would scroll for hours on end & it feel like minutes, but I wasn't having fun if I wasn't making them, then youtube started pushing shorts, so now I scroll through youtube shorts, getting angry at the videos so I comment, but it's retention so it's a never ending cycle of misery that I can't escape because of the addiction... there should be short form rehab

This is interesting because where I live, I tried Chipotle both in the Downtown area and the Hood. I noticed every time that the Hood Chipotle has larger serving sizes than everywhere else so we only ever eat in the Hood chipotle. My personal theory is that it's some sort of racial segregation thing where they try to make black people fat. It works for me and my partner cuz we only eat there in special occasions but I imagine if you're someone who eats there even once a month is probably getting rly far

I dunno, I can't help but think that despite all these good vibes and well wishes for the platform, Alphabet/Google/CZcams is a cold, calculating corporation at the end of the day and if there's more scams, bots, and general nastiness on CZcams, it has to be by design and not simply that they're out of touch or inept or confused. We're talking from a viewer/creator almost domestic POV, not a limitless growth and profit minded POV. What are the shareholders saying? What is being talked about behind closed doors in meetings? The corporation is not your friend and it does not need a welfare check to see if it's doing alright. Confused about what's going on? CZcams probably thinks "Good. Keep them confused." or even "Greed is good...".
