OWL recovers rescued Eagle (JUNE 14 2024)
this Eagle case number 24-263 has damage to left wing feathers and damage to some tail feathers - the feathers started to molt all at the same time - that made it impossible for it to fly away - it was also underweight and would not have survived the molt period - would have starved to death and me would have found it dead -

How funny is this, your buddy was wearing gloves after the eagle’s legs were secured! Of course he probably didn’t think of switching his hands to take them off. Still, he might lose grip of those legs because of the thickness of the glove. At least the eagle made it to the car safely, that’s the most important thing.

last time me be in PG was 10 years ago - wish me could help - The bridge is north of the terminal about 50 yards - the tracks under it head east and angle back to the main line east of the terminal. That's where you want to catch out

@@Telestations I gotta pass this on. I got a call from an elder and they gave one of those little white tail feathers to someone today and they broke down. No one has ever given them one before. There is such a demand for it across the city. So if you are out there thinking you arent making a difference brother....you did today. Anything you need

start by becoming a pro backpacker who has mastered the art of living in nature. actual backpacking, not glamping. you must be very fit. then think about hitchhiking. then think about trains.
Riding on top of a tanker car looks like fun. I wonder if any train hoppers have ever done that before.

population is rebounding thanks to awareness programs and people like Jack Evans - Mark Milan - Leroy Barney - Kenny Lewis and others whom help me recover sick Eagles - Greenpeace - Hancock Wildlife Society - and OWL who bring attention to Lead Poison overfishing and the effects of Acid Rain on Eagle populations and what must be done to help the population rebound

usually easy to tell what'll be a fast ride. easier then telling where its going imo
Very true in regards to IM or junkers pulling Tropicana - problem with mix manifest AKA junkers is priority or non-priority - this ride was not a priority - happened bunch of times but most times it be on junkers with bunch of empty lumber cars - a few times on junkers with bunch of oil cars - all them times they pulled into a siding and dropped the manifest and departed with the locomotives - simple ta understand were trains go - only hard part be if it is priority or non - IM can be a little tricky - got fenced yards now they pull into - just depends on what's on the manifest - Tropicana have fenced side yards same with other haulers such as amazon -
