Great review, how would you say the ride quality is like compared to Mercedes GLC and the level of road and wind noise?

What type or transmission does this car have?

I have a 2008 E90 335i N54 with a 6spd manual. The car is an absolute blast to drive. I have a Speedtech top mount turbo conversion with a very mild tune pushing around 500 hp to the wheels. Very fun car.

What about the reliability and the engine quality? I’m looking for a used 2023 model but I guess it would still have warranty just in case?

I had a 2015 GLE550 for about 4 months. It was a CPO with 60k miles. After $12k in repairs covered by extended CPO warranty, I gave it back to the dealership. Both front axles were shot, rear shocks were done and had to be replaced, the oil pump quit, heated steering was not working and the rear lights were filling with water after every single rain. These cars are not well made, unfortunately.

Loved your review, my only downside to owning my 2002 911 Carrera cabriolet black, on black w/whale tail & flared rear fenders, on a yellow suede & black leather interior w/6spd Manual, is the insults, the birds I get at traffic signals, happens too often in Arizona. Road rage seems to be no crime here. DO NOT DRIVE WITH TOP DOWN ! O.G. (I am the 83 yr old very very cautious original genius)

I went from 2021 X6 M40i to 2023 F-Pace SVR. Recently ordered 2025 F-Pace Edition 575 - love Jag style, performance and value. I compare the F-Pace much more to X6/X5 than X3/X4

Took a SVR for a test ride a few month's ago, I did liked it but the dealer is a little over an hour away. I wanted something a little more 4x4 look so I ordered a Lexus GX.

Enjoyed your review. We got our new 2023 Limited last fall and love it. We live on an acreage in north central Saskatchewan. Sure it takes more gas than most, but I don't care, this thing is built to last years. We tried out Pilots, Passports, Pathfinders and Highlanders, But the 4runner won us over with it's old school feel and ruggedness. It handles our gravel roads with ease, not scared to drive down forest roads in Fort ala Corne forest. It has it's quirks with ergonomics such as placement of power window switches, power steering heat switch and camera button, but that just adds to the personality. Only thing I really don't like is changing the oil, alot of stuff to get out of the way to get to the oil filter. I just might get creative and use my millwright skills and make a removal panel, similar to the oil drain on the oil pan. This would make oil changes very simple and quick. Otherwise I don't think you can go wrong buying a 4runner in this generation, it's made to handle rough roads and off road and still be comfortable on the highway. We wanted this one before the 4 cyl. turbos came out.

Thx for the review Mark. That definitely looks like an improvement over the original F Pace. Looks like the 4 banger starts in the 60k USD, the I6 is 70-80k, and the 5.0l is over 100k usd. The biggest hangup i have and its with all of the luxury brands sans Acura, they are 35 to 40 miles away. Its specific to me of course, but if i was gonna chance 1 from them, id feel better being about half that distance or less. Especially if i had the stones to get a hybrid from jag. They may b good, but electronics hasnt been their strong point.

when i read curb stomp i had to watch this. i have an a10 non 1le zl1 and its a great car but no its not faster or more capable than a c7z06. zl1s are a poor persons supercar imo.

I own both a C7 ZO6 with a manual and a ZL1 1LE with a manual. I’m not sure what interior trim you test drove in the C7 ZO6, but the interior is much nicer in the ZO6 than the ZL1. The ZLE is nice as well. Yes, it does ambient lighting, but the ZO6 is all leather. You can also get the ZO6 with Competition seats. I do like the six speed over the seven speed. Also, the ZLE has better cooling which makes it a better track car than the ZO6 ZO7. The ZO6 suffers from overheating in hotter weather. However, I would still pick the C7 ZO6. Great review.

I’d say the 2015 model is better

i have a 19 z06 corvette..love it...plus it has the manuel transm...there is no way if u get a qualified driver.... professinal-driver..this cood beet a corvette..on a windy trac-cource...its aprox. 500 lbs. lighter.
