It is fasciniating how the words of a person who lived and died a long time ago can have such an impact on a "modern" life. Every now and then, i try to make myself suffer when thinking of his words. It's not sufferring as in holding breath for no reason. Its suffering and taking the good, willful path over the quick and easy pleasure. Its as simple as eating something healthier or taking the stairs instead of an elevator. A quick reminder that the suffering is an option that rewards me later in a different way than the immediate pleasure.

They are a prescription for perpetual patriarchy, and have led to violence and disunion of species. Beyond the masterful presentation of critical information - I felt like I was listening to the original BBC broadcast of "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy!" I found myself mesmerized and drifting off to various scenes of Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect!
