Yes it does
I do believe it has, check out automotive UE5 tutorials.
@@azarelthecreator7098 IT DOES NOT. YES THERE ARE SOME WORK AROUNDS BUT ITS NOT GOOD FOR PRODUCTION
I have a huuuge scene that i wanna render with evee next , and the Global Ilumniation is not lighting the enviorment bright enough to being able to see it properly ( it ried to increse light powers but that didnt make a very good scene either , i think the gi in evee next lacks an adjuster for how much global ilumantion is strong , somthing like. Athickness or strenght value or somthin , liek the ssgi addon had for blender 3.2
Every solution has it's limitation, you could definitely use eevee next for your scene but it really just depends on your needs, depending on the actual scene sometimes cycle can be faster and more stable.
@AlternaVisionStudio Yes exactly , sometimes when u compare the overall quality and render time between EVNext & Cycles , the cycles has the edge
@@aliosanlou4425 Definitely agree, eevee for me is mostly to render things such as motion graphics, fog heavy scenes since it handles volumes nicely or really long animations. But otherwise cycle is the way to go, no scene had taken more than 1 hour to render on my computer, so spending time on optimizing eevee and making it look like cycle seems like a waste of time. Cycle is fast, stable and realistic.
@AlternaVisionStudio lets be hopefull that soon enough blender improve EVEE in a way that its as realistic and optimized as UE5 Engine
I am sure it will get there in terms of realism, but it does not even have to compete with Unreal engine 5, both are way too different they don't even effect each other in terms of userbase.
Could you provide a link to the forest biome you use? I was very interested in the description of this biome. Regards
Hello, you could find the biome here : blendermarket.com/products/pine-biome-painter
@@AlternaVisionStudio I saw on your turtorial (6:28) more biomes of different forests. Could you tell me, if it's not a problem, what biomes these are? I'm currently looking for a biome for my renderings. Regards
@@grzegorzmajewski8906 I am mostly using forestation biomes, alpha trees biomes, grassblade biomes as well the dynamic pine biomes and cloudscape biomes.
Isn’t it important to note that any additional adjustments should be made Before the LUT transformation node in order to keep the dynamic range within the linear color space? (I might have missed that if you mentioned it)
@TheYahn i believe i have mentioned it when comparing the curve and color histogram. Definitely important to note that.
Good tutorial. I was wondering why when I import the image to photoshop to do some post-processing (EXR file) The image overall gets brighter. I imagine it is because it's a 32 bit image, but is this only a photoshop thing or does it happen in other image progams too? (like affinityphoto) Does the render preview in blender show a 16bit version of the resulting image?
Thank you ! For the most part for EXR raw image editing davinci resolve is the best software, how if you want to use photoshop and affinity as well as davinci you would need to do preparations inside of blender and inside the photo editing software, ensuring that both have the same color profile and transform, i have a tutorial for that on my channel check it out.
@@AlternaVisionStudio Thanks, I just watched your video. I didn't know color management wasn't applied on EXR in blender. Still, what's the point on saving with exr if you are gonna use the same color management on other program?
@lautaroarroyo8527 for the most part, you are going to bake the image at the end with the color space viewable by most screens. But the point of using EXR is the high dynamic range, which gives better highlights and shadows and helps so much with avoiding blown out areas, overexposed or very underexposed area. It also allows you to make more drastic changes to the exposure without losing details. It's definitely a standard and not a choice anymore for anything serious.
I used all the time volume scatter but with big scenes is for me non sense. I start use very minimum volume scatter, but much more mist pass. Then I mixing all together and very very much I post production other fog files in png or png sequence with blending.
Mist pass and opacity "fog" definitely has it's use, but real volumes are definitely way ahead in terms of realism if used right.
I love the tutorials and have been using blender for a while now but every time I try importing a collada model for the tutorials it shows up messed up in blender, all over the place, and I can’t even view the model. Is there any solution for this?
Try using the skp file, it needs some slight cleaning but should be easy to do with simple separation and merging.
Make sure you explode everything in sketchup first and do not import sketchup groups into blender
@salimalim6185 Correct but in case you don't have access to skp there are other ways.
can you teach the fundamental for arhviz of blender? i just can't follow your tutorial because don't know what you click
For sure, its coming soon when i have more leverage to make longer videos and even series.
Bruh where i should learn the fundamental i learned that dount but i can't do anything expect dount wtf
The best way to learn usually is to follow the blender official documentations to learn most of the useful tools. After which you'll need to learn some very very basic levels of fundamentals, such as geometry topology, basic texturing, understand how textures and pbr workflow works and how geometry effects the surface. After which learn lighting. This whole process would probably take 10 to 20 hours and you will be able to start on making scenes without tutorials. You will struggle a bit but you will ALWAYS find solution and workarounds.
I want you to use evee next or evee 2.0 to share your point of view
I already shared a video about the topic and compared it with old eevee and cycle a month ago. Feel free to check it out.
Fantastique
Glad you liked it : D
you must have a very good pc. my laptop crashes all the time with that addon.
What version are you on ? I have a secondary laptop which only has 8gb of ram and a ryzen 7 2700u and it works okay.
@@AlternaVisionStudio When I did use it I used 3.6 I think. And I have a ryzen 7 5000 series with a gtx 1650. And I have 8gb ram and 4 gb vram
@@VisualPixelsCG Try to add more ram, at least 16 or 32, also make sure to be using windows 10 at this point at least.
@@AlternaVisionStudio how can I add more ram into a laptop
@VisualPixelsCG depends on the laptop, since it only has 8 gb of ram i am sure it can take up to 16. Just google your laptop expandibility and assembly, which will show you how to add the ram, make sure to buy the right ram as well.
Handy tip with cube blocking the light. I am not sure, but you already have a lot of threes in the background. They should be enough to produce a strong shadow in the image's foreground. Anyway, I will try this next time. In this kind of scene, I usually add a large plane with cloud texture and set it to transparent, to produce something like cloud shadow. In this case, it will add some diversity to the ground shadows. I'm just interested in general, do you model some architecture on your own? I understand that it is easier to import the SKP model for this kind of video.
@vrharh Thanks ! I model all projects be it commercial or personal, mostly to get a nice topology so i can have more freedome to change things later on during the process. In the case of youtube i don't see a reason as to why i would show the repititive modeling task, it is the easiest part of the process and many tutorials focus on that topic, all though planning to make some tutorials in the future about modeling skightly trickier architecture. Also i definitely agree, the trees should have been enough and i actually mentioned that during the video, but sometimes you want a fuller shadow, which is where a solid cube or plane come in handy .
please , i want tree asset
I did show how to get rhe assets in the video early on, feel free to search for the same resources or get a different poplus tree.
can you do one for night time renders.. It gets complicated for me to set up inside lights and outside lights e.t.c
Will do one in the future, one for the blue hour and one with the moonlighting.
@@AlternaVisionStudio Great! Thank you! 😊 I'll be waiting for your upload
@saraphiaalex6652 pleasure ! In the meantime feel free to shoot your questions or tells us about the specific case scenario either on instagram or the discord server. Instagram's response are typically faster.
I think maybe 200 or 100 years ago a favela would look like this but in nowdays it's worst and way more chaothic it looks like stilt houses from north of Brazil near of amazon jungle nice art btw
Thanks for the context, i did little research on what a real favela looks like and basically went with what i thought it would look like, ignorance from my part frankly. Definitely unfortunate.
to achando a imagem desse novo eevee muito escura parece que tem um exagero de preto , prefiro ciclos
Cycle definitely takes the win in terms of realism, after all eevee is a real time render engine that is not meant to compete with true path tracers.
0:30 essa entrada de luz no lado da porta e proposital?
Mistake from my part ! Good eye.
Very nice video.... thank you
Glad you liked it : D
Will it cause any problems if I transfer this system to Unity for my own game?
you could emulate it but i don't see why not use a native system for unity depending on optimization, HDRP water system seems very nice, KWS or any other solution.
@@AlternaVisionStudio First of all, thank you very much for your reply. The main reason why I designed the water system in blender is that there are many tutorials like your video. And at the same time, I am more familiar with Blender than Unity.
@@AlternaVisionStudio Well, can you please make a more detailed video of this water system, an animated version, as soon as possible?
@@yagzefe9504 I do agree blender has more tutorials, however the process is quite different from blender to unity, and this setup would be very counter productive in unity. I recommend you look through native solution, it will save more time and give you better results. HDRP is great if you like the performance.
Eevee NEXT advantages compare to Eevee legacy: - Real time ray tracing - No shadow artifacts - Better goblal illumination - Displacement work - Less visible light leaking
Exactly 💯
Blender is the best of the best...sir!!!!
It's exceptional ! Gotta have the best devs with the best community.
Yeaaah 😍 totally agree
Could you please show how you import the SketchUp models ? I tried playing with the settings but it never imports correctly (missing materials on faces so I couldn't even properly replicate the first step correctly) which made me unable to follow the tutorial
A common issue with the importer, did you try importing the Collada ?
@@AlternaVisionStudio I did and it looks better but the clip start and end got weird. I had to change it to 4000m clip end. Do you prefer the .skp or collada import ?
Would it be possible to make a video where you show step by step how to import and clean up the model ? I tried following the steps but it seems like it's cleaned up already so I cannot see the changes happening. For example after import have some parent relations do I keep them or delete them ? you have 25 objects, I have 300+ after importing and separating by material, the bevels don't do anything
@@Pattisek Generally i prefer Skp files, in my process i like to use 3Ds max for importing the file as it natively has skp as an import options and handles ATFs really really well, after which i export as fbx to blender where i do the cleanup work. I might do an unlisted tutorial where i show the cleanup process.
@@AlternaVisionStudio The cleanup video would be very appreciated. I guess I'm stuck with .dae at least for tutorials It seems to me that direct .skp import has problems when objects/faces in SketchUp aren't grouped or made into components.

my blender version 4.1 froze several times when rendering on EEVEE. This has never happened before. Moreover, in 3.6.12 everything works fine. I hope they fix this, because cycles also works great.
@letomaneteo yes it is quite instable. For my daily work, i usually use 3.6 as well. Keep in mind its a beta and quite immature, will get better soon for sure.

Great video, thank you so much! 🙏🏼 Do you know how to get the same look wile using ACEScct Color Science in Davinci Resolve's Color Menagement?
Thanks ! Ive never really looked into the possibility of preparing a render to be graded using acescct but there must be a way, i will look into it and refer back.
@@AlternaVisionStudio I appreciate it!
I think it would be great if you made a tutorial on animation
Coming soon !
Some useful information in there with the light path as a factor in the world shader. 👍
Glad you think so : D
Love the content, I'm curious if you ever use matte paintings / photos for the foreground/background? I draw a lot of inspiration from the rendering studio "mir", and most of their renderings seamlessly blends 2D and 3D to make their renderings as photorealistic as possible. Its obviously more difficult for us, as renderings studios at times hire freelance photographers to take pictures of a specific context/city.
Matte paintings are important, one form of it is backplates for car rendering for instance which is mostly do involving 2D/3D, but yeah matt painting is very important, recently i am doing most things in full cgi, especially humans and if the realism is not up to the level i want i enhance it either by drawing on top of the render or enhancing it with stable diffusion.
I just started learning blender as an architecture student. It's super helpful. Thank you so much!
Glad you found it useful, CGI for architects is a must !

beautiful realistic animation. Please make a breakdown if possible Thankyou
Thank you ! A breakdown would not benefit as much since it delves a bit deeper into technical workarounds but maybe a tutorial series or an interior animation masterclass would help in the future, but it is within my future plans.

visual game engines just give you tools to access the code unreal give you the most tool. people don't understand that people think it's graphics only. evee wont pass lumen anytime soon though. unreal does suck at one thing and thats 4k since it can't do that natively.
