Bruno, Pardon the delayed reply. The chassis and a spare adapter are at Rinkor Arms now. I traded these and other items for a Raven Euro stock which I will review in a future video. Contact Brian or Steve at Rinkor Arms for price and availability: rinkorarms.com The adapter is fairly easy for a machinist to make using CAD/CAM. I believe the shop I used said under an hour for design work and less than that for machining. The longest wait was for anodizing. Sorry, I don't have the CAD file. The chassis is a GRS Ragnarok and the butt stock is a MDT SRS-X Elite (short version). Thanks for your comment!

Patrick, Honestly and to be succinct, none as far as I can tell. I do not recommend them. They are a distraction if you are trying to become proficient with a given rifle, especially if you are changing calibers and re-zeroing your optic all the time. I recommend living by the old axiom "beware the man with one gun", though I would modify that by saying beware the man with one rifle/cartridge/bullet/optic. The logic being that a rifleman who's been shooting thousands of rounds through his Remington 700 Varmint, 308 Winchester with 168 SMK's his whole life has a higher level of proficiency than some guy with a half dozen multi caliber rifles, each with an assortment of conversions. In my country you're only allows 6 guns. However you can have different barrels for different guns registered on just 1. We are also quite picky with what animals we can hunt with what caliber. 22 no animals larger than a hare (but not hare). 22 mag or 17 hmr on the other hand can hunting everything up to a deer (but not deer). If you are gonna train a few 1000 shots with a 22 lr (about 15 cents usd a pop here) Vs 22 (mag / hmr) you're talking 60 cents a pop. That makes a difference in the long run asking me.

Daniel, I believe this machine had a def issue within the first few hours of operation which turned out to be a minor fix, if I understood my employer correctly. I began using it after that and have had zero problems with it. The mulching head is fantastic for shredding poison oak, scotch broom, white thorn and just about anything else. Keep in mind that while JD says "It's unique Tri- Cool design resists debris buildup and employs large coolers for superior performance in severe, high-load conditions", the operator still needs to be religious about cleaning those coolers daily, even with the reversing the fan! Gary, Pardon the delayed reply. Yes. Based on my experience with Tikka rifles, they always appear to meet the manufacturer's precision guarantee. For 308, I have found that Federal Gold Medal match, 175 SMK as well as Lapua 175 Scenar L ammo work very well. For 6.5, any lead core ammo that Hornady makes seems to shoot to Tikka's claim of "MOA" or better. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching!

Daniel, The machine shop I used has a CAD for the adapter however they do not wish to open source the program. They are not interested in any further firearms related work. Modular Driven Technologies have expressed disinterest in any potential production. I have not yet reached out to other chassis manufacturers to see if they would engage this project. Daniel, Pardon the late reply. I will ask the machine shop I hired if they still have the program and let you know. The Length Of Pull is about the same as a factory Blaser R8 (14 5/8"). The adapter is 1.00" in length. As shown, the LOP is a bit too long for me even with the SRS X Elite fully collapsed. If I had to do it over again I would make the adapter shorter so that I could use the range adjustment on the SRS X Elite stock to fine tune LOP with the optics I use. There's a sweet spot for scope placement and LOP on R8's. Too short LOP and the bolt will slam into your face when cycling. Too long and scope ring position becomes problematic (with some optics) as does stretching your neck to get proper eye relief. Thanks for your comments and thanks for watching!

Andreas, True. The cheek piece must be lowered in order to remove the bolt. It was a sacrifice I was willing to make in order to have a more rigid chassis with a greater range of adjustment. Chris M, All barrels are the varmint profile. In regard to the 22 mag, it is just pure luck that the ammo on the dealer's shelf (CCI V-Max) is what I bought and performs best so far. Five shot groups such as the one shown in the video are common. For the 22LR barrel, the Norma Match ammo shown in the Tikka T1X Transformation video works very well in the Sako. Performance is on par or slightly better than the Tikka. Given California's ridiculous ammunition regulations, I haven't had the opportunity to try enough variety of ammo to do either the Sako or the Tikka justice in terms of finding what performs best in 22LR. isadog2, To the best of my knowledge, the PRS1 TK with mini chassis will work with any Tikka T3x rifle chambered for a short action cartridge (223 Rem, 6.5 Cm, 308 Win, 300 WSM, etc.) plus the T1x (with a little modification) however, it will not accept the CTR magazines. mannersstocks.com/mcs-bdl-dbm-mini-chassis I believe you can order a PRS1 stock for a CTR however, you would have to use your factory bottom metal and install your own recoil lug and bed it. Margaret, It is recommended that you use a Snap Cap or similar device to prevent potential damage to the chamber of a rimfire firearm when dry firing. You can find them at Cabela's, Bass Pro, Brownells and even Amazon. I'm sure CCI Stingers will do just fine in the T1x though I never fired those in that rifle. Thanks for watching!

Ben, The new barrel is from Lothar Walther. It's a 20.5" barrel, .9" in diameter with a 1:16" twist and threaded 1/2X28 at the muzzle. You may want to try a few different flavors of ammunition to see what the new set up prefers. Enjoy!

Frank, I believe the color is called "Elite Tac Black Forest". . mannersstocks.com/color-and-finishes Other than chiseling out a section of the stock to clear the T1x bolt release, the only other mod I made was to shorten the pin that secures the bolt release to the receiver which takes a few minutes with a hand file. Viewers may be interested to know that Lothar Walther is making barrels for the T1x. I hope to have one soon. Also, Murphy Precision is making 5.5 inch long scope bases with uninterrupted picatinny slots with 0, 10, 20 and custom inclinations in stainless and titanium. Check it out! Sam, I did try a KRG Whiskey as well as a Masterpiece Arms chassis with the Tikka T3x and cannot say there is an appreciable difference in performance (accuracy wise) between those and the PRS1 TK. Ultimately, I chose the Manners stock simply because I felt it was more comfortable. The fact that the T1x bolts right in without much modification to the stock is something to consider. I no longer have the KRG or MPA chassis so, can't say if the T1x will work with those. Thanks!

Karl, Good question. I believe I just got lucky with the .22 mag. barrel and ammunition combination. Conversely, the .22 LR conversion did not shoot well with the ammo shown in the video. martin2514, There is just too much difference in the dimensions of the 308 Winchester and 300 Winchester Magnum cartridges for the 308 to feed properly out of a 300WM magazine. If I understood the sales representative at EuroOptic correctly, Accuracy International did make a limited run of left hand AXMC's for the U.S. market however, conversion parts for those rifles are still on order. For the time being, if someone wants a left hand AXMC, they are limited to a rifle that is dedicated to a magnum cartridge. I don't know if things are the same in the U.K.. Certainly, you should talk to the folks at AI as well as EuroOptic and Mile High Shooting for a more definitive answer. You should not dismiss the Desert Tech based solely on my statement. It is a very capable platform. I'm sure that, with practice, I could become just as proficient with the SRS as the AXMC. There are, of course, other possibilities: for the price of one AI AXMC, you can have a gunsmith build two nearly identical rifles chambered for different cartridges. One could be a 308 Winchester and one could be a big magnum such as a 338 LM or Norma Magnum. The downside is you would most likely spend a little more to purchase an optic for each rifle. The positive is not having to re-zero your scope when you change calibers on one multi caliber rifle. If my experience with the equipment I have featured on this channel has taught me anything, it is that the rifle is not nearly as important as the optic. For example: if I had to use my AI or Desert Tech chambered in, say, 308 to compete with a person armed with a similarly equipped Tikka, I would be worried. I would have little to no room for error. Much to consider. Regards!

Thank you for the great reply. It is the same here in the U.K. they have made the long action but the conversation kits are still lacking. It is a real disappointment. I will be extending my system beyond 2 calibers so the AXMC is what I am after. As it most likely has to be in right hand now, I am after a system that I can adjust to fit me perfectly as I will have to shoot a right handed rifle left handed while only having 1 arm. Here in the U.K. the only issue they have is they have not built the magazine well inserts. It seems madness that they are holding out on making the insert when they would open out a massive area of expansion. Again thank you for your reply I really appreciate it. I fully agree with the optic point. I would prefer a cheap rifle with a good optic than an expensive rifle and a cheap optic. Thank again it has really helped.

clapton05martin, After a phone call to Mile High Shooting, it appears you may be in luck for 308 magazines for the AXMC. Brayden stated that the 308 Winchester magazines for the new AXSR should work for the AXMC since it is simply a standard magazine welded inside of a magnum magazine (no mag adapter needed). As far as left handed bolts go, Brayden indicated that they have been on order for some time however, a firm delivery date has not been determined. Good luck on your quest!

Welding the internals from a 308 into a long action mag and the adapter problem solved. I am from the U.K but I will email mile high today and see if I can order one to get it here. Here in the U.K you can get everything in left handed however the only part missing is the magazine adapter. It seems silly you would stop that from opening up to a massive market that is really under viewed. Again thank you so much I will be trying g to get everything tracked down and ordered. martin2514, I prefer both the AXMC and AXSA simply because I can adjust the butt pad and cheek piece of those rifles to fit me perfectly. My opinion is the DT SRS does not offer a comparable level of adjustability in those areas. Now is the time to purchase one of those platforms from EuroOptic. Thanks! Truth be told, I don't have a rifle that weighs less than ten pounds, fully equipped. That includes rifles I hunt with. I know that's heresy to a lot of hunters out there. I feel it's worth the effort to haul a heavier rifle around if that means I'm able to shoot 100 or more rounds at a time at the range in order to become proficient with that rifle. Mark, I believe the Sako is worth the investment if a person just wants a multi caliber rifle for casual plinking or small game hunting. Overall, it's my favorite rimfire rifle. What attracted me to the T1x is the fact that I could install it in the Manners PRS1TK stocks I already had. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it performed. I don't have a CZ 527 therefore, cannot comment on that rifle. While we're talking rimfire, I spoke with Craig at Area 419 a few weeks ago and he said he was working on a video comparison of the CZ, T1x and the Vudoo V-22. Todd, Around three shots. The 6.5 Cm conversion that Short Action Customs did for me will be within a half inch of where it was after it settles down. I have found that conversion to be so true that the scope's windage adjustment is within a click of the middle of its adjustment range. The AI factory 338 and 300 WM barrels will be less than an inch away from where they were before a swap. I have two Accurate Mags for the 223, one five rounder and one ten rounder. No troubles with either. That's the factory Tikka mag in the CTR. Again, no issues. Hope that answers your question. Let me know. Thanks for watching!

Manny, I didn't see your question until I was combing through the comments. Sorry for the late reply. As far as I know, the Accurate Mags will fit into any of Manners' stocks which have the Mini Chassis/Detachable Box Magazine option whether it's for the Tikka's or Remington 700 and clones. I know there are many different brands of bottom metal on the market and can't say for sure which ones are compatible with Accurate Mags. The 223 Accurate Mag shown will also fit a Manners PRS1 with DBM I have on an Alpha 11 (Defiance) in 300 WSM and the 300 WSM Accurate Mags I have for that rifle will slide right into that Manners PRS1TK. I also have a couple of 308 magazines marked AI which I used when I pulled the Tikka 223 out of that stock and installed the Tikka 6.5 Cm just to see how well it worked. No Problems there.
