"Sonic music wouldn't fit the movies" my ass, the composer is sleeping SO HARD on the entire treasure trove that is Sonic OSTs and I'm SO TIRED of the bare minimum that is Green Hill. I only HOPE they didn't pay for Live and Learn rights JUST for the logo teaser, that'd be such a spit in the face of the entire fandom.

Oh man. Shame that the real movie did not include the game music.

i need at least one scene with sonic, knuckles, and tails using eachother's strengths in some badass way with fist bump playing in the back ground. forces may have not been the best game to a ton of people but fist bump is one of the best songs through the whole franchise imo. it holds so much power and just fits perfectly.

And no-one will ever know how he survive that. Eggman has the ultimate plot armor

I mean the First scene with the song doesn’t really do that scene justice. Maybe city escape would have made it more exciting. But Ice Cap was a good one for sure. Then the song from E3 was good. Though some songs didn’t really go well with most of the scenes. Good job though overall it’s good to also see it from others perspectives.

my worry after watching multiple videos like this is that in sonic movie 3 theyll use orchestral versions of these songs like live and learn, and idk about any one else but i really enjoy sonic music for its use of vocals at perfect timings, watching these fan scenes it really just shows that these songs were meant for sceneic purpose not just a games background music, hearing open your heart screaming at the beginning as sonic turns super really puts more weight in not only the track but the scene as well bc its like what were all feeling i know i def screamed " ALLLLL RIGHTTT" when i first saw sonic turn super in the movie, i really really hope they include vocals for at least live and learn in the sonic 3 movie or imma be a bit disappointed

Okay so it's obvious that Sonic 2 has more the SA1 aestethic, while I think (and hope) that Sonic 3 will have the SA2 aestethic, it's just obvious

I can't believe the reason the Sonic movies don't have the music from the games in them is because Sega doesn't have the right to their own music they had to pay somebody to use Green Hill zone. It's actually kind of insane like on the one hand you have Nintendo who is doggedly hateful spiteful and incredulous of anybody ever using anything outside of the intended use to come up with But Sega is on the other end of that spectrum where they just didn't protect their stuff at all and actively destroyed it as they went mostly because they're ran by the Yakuza who are another brand of dinosaur.

This music made the sonic 2 movie better

Sonic Heroes Kinda suits, but i gotta disagree open your heart didn't suit at all. It's not always about the beats and swag, lyrics matters as well (about the songs with lyrics not soundtracks)
