Hi Kenn how are you very amazing stream.
Greetings Mr. Matt! I quite concur with your line of thought; I just seem to be perpetually curious😅. BTW, I envy your students; you care enough to make learning fun and easy, which seems to be a novel concept in the US. 🙄 Teachers like yourself have fun also! I can tell. :) Thank you Mr. Matt!
Arrrg Im like 15min in before I realize its FO4 and not FO76 LUL >< I was like... Im SO gonna build this! XD Wish we could do shit like this :P Leaving a like and a view anyways since its foggen cool :D
Oh man! Well I am glad you found it! Feel free to stick around as long as you want!
I usually dont bother with this type of build especially here. I normally elevate it and build floors off elevated concrete foundation to build a bigger base, especially for the 25-30 settlers, and gardens and shops etc to generate mass amounts of food, coin and water .
Sounds like you’re running a legit business that brings in an amazing amount of caps! I have a few ideas like that for some other settlement locations. Thanks for commenting and checking out the content!🙏🤘
My wasteland is entirely too hostile for this. Large settlement raid mod and spawn point going to see roughly 30 gunners inc and war of the common wealth sees huge battles going off and makes the settler mounted laser cannons from Sim settlements very useful.
To coin a phrase from Aliens " WOP, fry half a city with one of these puppy's".
I was really digging Sim Settlements 2 on my Xbox but my save was went corrupt and lost a god 10ish hours, and was playing on Survival. I need to get back to it one day! Sounds like your wasteland is WAAAY different than mine!😂 Nevertheless, thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!
@@mkenn10 Sim Settlements just keeps getting better as they fine tune and add to it, it's immense. Yes it's super dangerous because of all the ongoing perpetual large fights taking place around the Common wealth and downtown Boston is a nightmare. And then they have air support lol. I play on a high-end gaming rig and it can handle madness settings.
@@musicilike69 I love it! I watch Kinggath stream a lot of his Sim Settlements 2 playthroughs
I don’t know how to do this, every time I try to my characters are all stuck in the conversation even if I split them:(
Oh no! And you only have one character jump down to interact with Balthazar? That’s important, you need to leave your party behind on another platform so not to trigger a cut scene, as well as make sure you are invisible before jumping down…
Oh dear--sorry about all the lines. My device is messing up again!😮💨
Wow. I'm still trying to grasp the deeper meaning of (this) life...hang on while I overthink this...!😅 Uh-oh--all I can come up with so far is dizzy...Put too much stress on my last two brain cells...🤪😵💫😵 This has been tons of fun, Mr. Matt! I'm so curious about the results of the other ending option; guess I'll have to play it for myself to find out! Thank you very much for this series--I'll miss the unique music. Is the soundtrack available anywhere for a playlist? Can't wait to see what game you play next! Oh, no, of COURSE I don't have any ADHD spectrum characteristics! I just enjoy learning about new--*gasp* --ooh-SHINY!!! :P☺️
I think you should definitely give this game a go if you are interested. As far as the other ending option, in my head I didn’t think that one made sense since I saved Zulf. If I chose to leave him, then I could go back and do the whole “restart time” thing, but this decision made more sense to me that I had this posse and we were going to run with it and see what the future holds for us working together🔥🤘🔥🤘
Good video but do you really need to say the full title every single time
That my friend is a very valid point😂 Thanks for checking it out and taking the time to comment!
Thank you SO much, ive been stuck here for HOURS (might be an over exaggerating But shush dont tell anyone🤫) but yeah thanks this helped alot i was fr about to go ape shit on this game
Haha, your secret is safe with me😉 So glad it worked! Such an amazing game and it only keeps getting better all the way to the end!

No problem at all and thank you so much.

Right on!🤘 Always great to have you on board! You’re content of Dragon’s Dogma 2 actually made me go out and buy it; now I’m like 12 hours deep and loving it!
@@mkenn10 It's such a fun game. Sometimes too many enemies...but still a blast☺☺
As always, looking good. Glad you've been having fun finding all the cool different pieces and figuring out how the snap together! :D Going forward here's another couple tips: Snappy Builds has an interior walls menu. Inside this are a LOT of various one-sided and 2 sided, different height pieces, as well as matching railing, floors, stairs, skylights, rooves, trims, columns, dividers for offices, etc. If you're stuck looking for stairs and snapping railings of various sizes and colors, check this section. There is a deco and a wood section within interiors that goes perfectly with the decokit and the housekit/shell kit pieces. :D Could get some really cool ideas with those skylights too at some point elsewhere. The stairs you put in were decokit stairs. In the end of the decokit stairs menu are a bunch of matching railings that carry on from the stair post, and can fill the weird gaps. You're getting odd snapping because the stairs for decokit are a bit thinner, causing some alignment issues. Also, the shellkit will become your new best friend, because the shellkit is what is used to make most buildings in the game. A lot of the basic building pieces can be found there. The pieces of interest to you specifically in this build are the interior walls section within the shellkit, full size old plaster pieces of various sizes to give you control over doors and walls sizes where necessary. They're probably going to be very helpful for your layout here.
Wow, I don’t think I fully realized how massive this mod was and how much control it really gives you! Thanks as always for the help, I think this will come in handy from now on!🙏🙏
Since I played Fallout 4 on Xbox I honestly didn't/still don't have the patience to build a proper buildings for the settlements. Console players don't have the pinpoint accuracy for the snapping of items that PC players have so we have to use the rug or pillar glitch to get the building almost perfect which still is a pain. I've tried to copy building videos in the early days of Fallout 4 but I simply didn't have the patience to use the rug or pillar glitch to fix the Castle walls. If a settlement has a pre-existing structure that's not destroyed I would use it for the living quarters and use the junk fences to wall off either the entire or half of the settlement with a single entrance guarded with some turrets. But If I had to give settlers a living area in a settlement without any pre-existing structure I would use the pre built structures in the Workshop and the basics of survival/protection from the Wasteland. I enjoy watching videos of people making amazing Vanilla and Modded building videos in Fallout 4.
Thanks for commenting! I have over 600 hours logged in Fallout 4 on my PlayStation 4! I think I studied harder for all of those console glitches than I ever did for final exams! I really enjoyed building in Vanilla and for years it was the only way I ever created my settlements. Believe it or not, this is my first ever experience building with mods and several community members have been super helpful. Hope you'll stick around the check out the content!🙏🤘
Quick question what mod(s) do you use for all the building presets/ items? Much Love❤
Thanks for commenting and checking out the content. Happy to share! All of the mods are listed in the playlist description👍
@@mkenn10 I see no playlist description? There is no modlist in the description of this video. Where exactly do you mean? I found the playlist for this series but there is no description.

@@mkenn10 Thank you. That did it. Gonna binge watch your builds now.
@@xtremejay2000 That sounds like a great idea to me!😂😂
And BossyGirls needs a pen and at least a feeding trough (in vanilla resources) ASAP. Otherwise she might wander off to find food and water, and might get killed or lost...😢 I always build a pen with a roofed section with the feeding trough under cover, in case of inclement weather. My brahmin in my game stand under the roofed section when it rains. :) I've noticed in other builder's settlements, that barns with connected pens (if space allows) are much appreciated by the brahmin; the feeding troughs go inside the barn, and a simple water pump outside in the pen completes the aesthetic. :) Your B&B is looking great! Thank you Mr. Matt!
I noticed that the Brahmin was aimlessly walking around, so I definitely need to build something for her stat! I did want to build a small barn/workshop for the B&B's on site farm-to-table, and now with the brahmin the original plan needs to expand. Will need to meet with Hal and Eliza Mason to see how they want to move forward.
My my, I had no idea that Piper and I have so much in common! I enjoy writing, and completely agree with her railing and post choices. :) Greetings Mr. Matt, and thank you for the shout-out and other references. Also, @YAKOSEI--what they said. :)
Ha ha! I hear Piper likes to frequent the saloon over at Zimonja's Rest, so maybe the two of you can swap old war stories...😂🤣 I will be jumping back into the build "off camera" to check out @YAKOSIE suggestion. You guys are always spot on!
As always, I am impressed with your creativity. Getting eager to see this furnished and decorated. Thank you again for your hard work and sharing your game with us
You are so welcome! I'm looking forward to sitting down with Piper and picking her brain for window curtain ideas!😂🤣

this is my first time watching, i love it !! <3 im going to check out more of the videos
Awesome! Thank you! So glad my content reached you and that you are checking out more. I am really enjoying this series and looking forward to continue the journey!
The issue you're having with the railing is, you gotta place the posts first and the railing snaps to them. That makes up for the odd gaps, and the "not fitting".
Brilliant! I will be going back in for some "overtime" to check out some of these suggestions. Thanks for sharing your expertise!🫡👍
This is very relaxing. I love the narration.
Glad you enjoyed it! I appreciate the positive feedback. This is an entire series, so I hope you'll check out the other builds. The second part to this B&B actually just went live about an hour ago! Thanks again for the support! 🙏
I just started CZcams but I do know a few tips and tricks one thing is to always be talking and if you're not going to talk then you should probably cut Parts out that you're not talking unless it's important of the series
Hey, thanks for writing in and checking out the AC Mirage content. I hear you. I feel I have definitely been improving as I go, so I hope the content gets and coverage gets better. Thanks for the tips and recommendations!
So happy to see you using Snappy! This is beautiful and I can't wait to see how you finish the second floor
Thank you!! Snappy build has definitely been taking some getting used to. A lot of experimenting with what works and fits, but it's been fun!
I have snappy houseboy installed but for some reason it does not show up in my workshop. What should I do to fix that?
Hmmm. Do you have Workshop Rearranged installed? That helps reorganize your workshop menu. Or maybe it’s the load order? What other mods are you using? Was it through Nexus? Sorry, just trying to ask some clarifying questions to see what the problem could actually be…
@@mkenn10 I do. I’m on xbox and had it closer to top of my load order with homemaker and smm, but no luck. I eventually gave up and got other decorator mods instead. Thank you for the reply 😆😄
Ahh, sorry it didn't work. Being on console can be a bit tricky sometimes. But I am glad you found some other settlement decorating mods that worked for you!
just finish the video, it look awesome!
Thank you!
Great job! Just do your thing. I don't care how you narrated it. I appreciate your thought process while building; without it, it would be boring. This is the first video of your settlement building that I've come across, so I hope you continue to work on obscure settlements like this.
I appreciate that! This is the fourth settlement build in the series, so I would be remised not to recommend you check out the series from the beginning😆 Thanks for the support!
I assume your playing this on you pc, man, PC gamers have so many cool building mods... i mean ofc, but danm I'm jelly
PC mods are pretty incredible. I have over 500 hours in Fallout 4 on my PS4 and mods there weren't even allowed for the longest time. You can definitely find some good ones on console now.
New to your page. Loving it so far. Where do I find the list of mods you are using for building?

Woah...I watched the whole episode with my portable comm. device in hand to post comments. Now that's something! I can only imagine what the sound quality was like!😂
Greetings Mr. Matt! I'm all set up to enjoy a great Friday night watching Bastion--Cheers!
Rock on! I think this game is so much fun!
I believe there's a mod that expands the Workshop Area which is a useful mod for this series. I honestly don't have any way to check if I'm correct because the update for Fallout 4 on my Xbox is acting like Console Mods aren't a feature anymore which is the first thing that I checked after the update and I don't know if anyone else on Console is having the same issue. Also if anyone was wondering what version my Xbox is it's just the Xbox One X (Not Series X) which I got when it was released and it's not obsolete since it's actually more reliable than the Series X/S from the reports I've heard. Anyway since you're on PC the mod list for Fallout 4 is endless so a mod that expands the Workshop Area is easy to find. The reason why I mentioned it is because it's useful for large projects in the series.
Thanks for commenting! There are lots of mods for making the physical lot size bigger for each settlement. I have been using a mod to add to the limit size, but I have yet to expand the borders. I think there are a few settlements that I have in mind that would definitely benefit from this. I appreciate you taking the time to post and support the channel. Cheers!
Greetings Mr. Matt! Thankyou for your generous response, good sir. Hats off to @higheverrains7386 for the wealth of detailed info they shared. I just happened to live for several years in the areas in California to which I referred, otherwise, my knowledge of historically housed B&B's would be very limited. :p It's always a pleasure to observe and support creative creators' creations! ;)
There you have it! I am over on the East Coast/New England area myself and we have a lot of historical homes that have been converted into B&Bs. I actually drive around my neighborhood looking for "inspiration." 😂
Who is your audience? Children may enjoy your narrative, but not the building. Vice-versa with adults.
Hey, thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I have taken a very wholehearted approach when it comes to the narrative. In a bleak and violent world such as the Commonwealth Wasteland, I wanted to roleplay as a jack-of-all-trades fun-loving guy. This is the 4th settlement build in the series, so maybe start from the beginning and see what you think? Either way, I appreciate you stopping by to check out the content!
Greetings Mr. Matt! the WRU is off to a auspicious start on the Tenpines B&B project; great story, as usual! Your architectural design concept is very appealing and completely appropriate for a classic B&B style. It reminds me of the Victorian and Edwardian-era mansions repurposed for B&B's in the Napa and Sonoma County (California) areas. There might be a wooden moulding in one of your building kits to connect your floating porch railings, or wooden decorative posts to place at desired intervals to anchor the railings to the porch floor. You might like the option to place lanterns on top of said posts for further ambiance. Have fun-- and so will we! 😃
You put the history right into what I am trying to say in the video!😂 I should probably do some of this research beforehand, huh? Haha. You nailed my style, and I LOVE the idea of checking out to see if the lamp posts fit in railings. I will also check to see if there are any gap fillers for the railings. Thanks as always for commenting with your historical knowledge and intrigue. I really do appreciate it!
Lol Snappy Builds snaps to a lot of things. Those lamps actually attach to the wooden housekit posts. I think they're meant to be replacements for the Taffington lamps along their deck? There's so much variability in there, and fun stuff to work with. To make stuff snap between housekit and other snap kits, be aware that the housekits are 1.5 wide compared to a regular floor square. The pieces in that kit CAN work with others, but not always. You can find some similar shapes in the Decokit section however, and sometimes mix and match is more successful than others :) Each kit also comes with a number of different colors (housekit and decokit are green, brown, or white trims I think which is why some of your bumpouts were looking the same, it's the trim color that was different. If you hop over to wallpapers or floors, in the main snappy menu, you'll find snapping pieces to change up the floors or interior/exterior wall pieces, that let you have different wallpapers, tiles, carpets, etc. Have fun playing with it all! I always enjoy watching you discover the new things you can do with some of these bigger mods like Snappy and Workshop Rearranged. The excitement is infectious. For that window wall on the steps, use the full sized wall and window, and then put another half wall on top of it and it can work together with the next height wall. OR put a vanilla greenhouse/warehouse half-wall in there if it absolutely MUST be half sized. For the patio, replace those two single-piece windows at the back with doorways, and then build your patio off the back there so it has two ways in/out (on for the guests, one from the kitchen for eating outside maybe?).
You always come through in the clutch! Your knowledge of these mods are off the charts and I really appreciate your insight. I think I might have said this before, but this is really the first time I have ever built with mods. I have always done vanilla on PS4. With the B&B I think I will only stick with Deco kit and house kit. Seems to have more of the style I am looking for. I'll also be sure to check out the tiles and wallpapers too. As always, thanks for the positivity and support! When there is so much negativity in the online gaming space, it's nice to see there has been a lot of positive feedback here from the community!

Thanks so much for checking it out and sticking around for the continuation! Plenty more to come in this adventure of hospitable settling in the Commonwealth Wasteland!
Yet another fantastic video! I absolutely LOVED the interviews and the raider-clearing montage. RP was on point, as always, and your clutter decoration really brought a sense of personality to what could have been a boring office space. The fireplace addition was genius. I understand there are some fun decorations in the Snappy Builds mod. Maybe some inspiration for your next contract? Also, thank you so much for posting your mods list! I saw a couple that I might try to add to my own game. . . :) Keep up the magnificent work, and as always - looking forward to the next chapter in the Wastelander's Reconstruction Union Story <3
Thanks! I love mixing a bit of combat in with the story. It only makes sense, especially from a lore standpoint... but I have a few ideas up my sleeve to make some subtle changes. Always appreciate your enthusiasm!
So I know you use Creative Clutter, but you may want to consider looking into Do It Yourshelf and Modular Kitchens. These are maintained by the same authors, or one author group (not sure), and they all work well together and snap together. Do It Yourshelf adds shelving with snapping and lots of various clutter things to add to shelves, and some of the creative clutter clutter is designed to work alongside them. Modular Kitchens has the kitchen sets (both pre and post war), and also has DIY snapping compatibility. If you're not using Place Everywhere, these can be really useful mods to work with because they're designed to compliment each other. :)
