Yes I enjoyed watching you, I love the way you cook, every of the ingredients was well organized, job Weldon
I enjoy watching your cooking. Keep up the good Job. Be safe
What can you use in place of water yam please?
Watching it in 2024 from ya WhatsApp
Jesus. Four years ago?? And I'm seeing it in 2024😂
😅
Hiya, great recipe! What alternative leaf can I use as I doubt I'll be able to find water leaf in my region of the world. Thank you.
You can use spinach as a substitute.
This is not Edikang ikoñ, my dear. If it does not look like edikañ ikòñ, it's not edikañ ikóñ.
Tip: If your water yam is the "new" one, make the ration of cocoyam and water yam equal. This will make the mixture less runny
Looks delicious. But Efik & Ibio are in the Southern Nigeria, not the East.
Yes Nene. That was a mistake. Thank you
One of my best food
Good job 👍
Great
Made this yummy dish today
Nice steps dear. As this is not my native soup , am looking for a very good recipe to try. As it's quite different from the usual ones I see everywhere quite confusing though. So let me try yours today and see how it goes. But who really owns this soup recipe, calabar or akwa-ibom tribe?
Nice ❤
Thank you Eme
Yommy yommy taste look
Yummy yummy
Yes it was. Thanks for watching!
Looks so yummy
Thank you
What kind of chicken can we used
Hi Elizabeth. I used Goat meat
Please how long can this stay on the shelf before it gets bad?
It can last for up to 4months
Oat has always been a fave for me.
Sure
Yummy 😋
I love your method
Thank you

You're most welcome! I already have a video on white soup czcams.com/video/m8oyihK0IaA/video.html
@@exquisitekitchen5842I have a question
Can someone add ogili
Ogiri won't give you the traditional Akwaibom taste. Notwithstanding, you can add
Amazing recipe 😋, well done dear 👏 ✔ 👍
Thank you so much
Recipe average....love the music
Thank you 😊
Good bless you for showing the correct yam to use
Popularly called Zobo in Nigeria. 🇳🇬 You can laterally make various herbal combinations and versions of this specie of hibiscus plant flower drink.
Southern part of Nigeria not eastern part
That must have been a mistake. Thank you so much for the correction ❤
I love your voice overs
Thank you so much❤
Hi! I just found your channel when I was looking for an akwa ibom edikaikong like my room mates used to cook all those years ago 😊
Welcome!❤
Nice
Thanks

Hi Mary. You can watch the full video via the link below. I listed out all the ingredients in the description area too www.youtube.com/@exquisitekitchen5842czcams.com/video/MQs1eaol-Tw/video.html
@@exquisitekitchen5842 ok thanks
Looks so delicious dear
Thank you!
If the leaves not tiny it's not edikakong
Wow I totally enjoyed watching this video, you are good babe
Thank you so much for watching
Lovely 🌹 please, can someone use palm oil instead of Palm karnel oil juice ? Cause of stress and time..
Stephen, then that won't be Atama Abak anymore. The palm fruit is the main deal. Notwithstanding, you can find the already processed one in the grocery store around you. Click on the link below to see what I mean, in this video I uploaded, using the store bought palm fruit extract for Ofe akwu czcams.com/video/_4NLQmDqjB8/video.html It can also be used in making Abak Atama. That will go along way to cut the stress of making it yourself. You're welcome
Thank you for this video. So, no seasoning at all abi? Only salt...
You're most welcome Ujah. If you noticed, I added meat stock. My meat stock was well seasoned, so there was no need to add more seasoning. Notwithstanding, If you taste yours and you have any need to add, then go ahead. Thank you for watching
“Igbos cook better than Yorubas and Calabars cook better than Igbos.” ^ I might not fully agree with that but with soups like these from the Ibibio-Efik side I can understand where that reputation comes from.
What has that got to do, some yorubas also have good nutritious native soup but not the lagosians, like, ondo, ijesha, ekiti etc, i am from ogun state, born and raised in lagos but my favourites soups are from Eastern part of Nigeria from my youth age till now, I hardly cook yoruba soup, all the soup ingredients in my freezer, kitchen are not yoruba, infact I only remember to cook stew when my kids asked for it or want cook lazily, which eastern native soup require I gedients, time and patient
@@folashadematanmi4363 I know about those Yoruba sub-groups you mention being much better when it comes to soup. Yoruba people are always good when it comes to rice anyway. That’s the one thing they can consistently agree on doing well.
Did u pre cook d water yam and d coco yam
Not at all! You grate it raw Thank you for watching
Not at all
You took your time time to explain the process, kudos
Thank you so much Vera
