If possible I would really recommend improving the audio :) Lots of CZcamsrs underestimate how much audio matters over video :)

I haven't bought a codex this edition. As a militarum player wtf would you>? There is great websites that vice better rules layouts and better army building than GW does. I would pay GW for that on a monthly sub, but I can't, so I pirate it instead.

If you were to group Spearheads and Combat Patrols into a challenge video, to try and keep the keys jingling in front of the larger 40k audience you could do 'equivalents'? So, space marines and stormcast for example (which I would assume would be the first), or Lumineth and Aeldari etc. Has the pitfall that if people don't care for the sort of similar aesthetics they might not click but I'd be curious

Regarding the "combat patrol challenge" mentality, I personally don't think the challenges need to be self-abusive. I'm quite happy to see each of you paint one challenging character in a reasonable amount of time. Or a slightly unreasonable amount of characters in a reasonable amount of time. I think the most important aspect is that you find a way to argue hilariously about the projects you are working on, and I don't think it necessarily has to be a brutally long challenge to get into that lane. I.E. Big Kieran doing Ultramarines while Normal-Sized-Kieran (NSK) does Thousand Sons would be pretty funny even with small numbers of minifigs, because both of you would be out of your comfort zone and would complain. Then maybe you live-stream play against each other trying to understand the rules for each faction.

I/We need to see the unpainted purchased models for sure! Two videos...one there and a field trip to the other pile of fun too please. (I would also love to see the painted model collection). My unpainted pile is outrageous...because gifts for birthday, Christmas, Mother's Day and the in between few boxes add up quicker than my barely painting procrastination can handle. So far, no regrets, just a collection of army favourites - I am loving variety and rule of cool.

While I did expect this to get into 4 figures 😂 I think you probably (in reality) spent about half this cost, if you utilise WARHAMMER MATH! That's today's GW RRP, you probably bought these kits years ago when they were half the price and from a local game store so an additional 20% off Whatever you sold Belacor for comes off the total. £90 for the Judiciar is a stretch I would count up how many bodies are in that box and divide 90 by that. If you sell Ulfrics body and the 2 Dread bodies on ebay you could prob get £50 back. The number goes down quickly if you make ALL the excuses 😂

I love Death Guard first and foremost, their lore, and his newest model is just a thing of beauty. I feel like Mortarion specifically was treated unfairly by writers, but perhaps he's just accepted his role as an inevitable force? I feel like he needs more love. 3. Lorgar - Again, he's incredibly cool, and the writing is done well. He's instrumental to the HH events, and the writing is done well.

Okay so why did you buy 3 space wolves sprues instead of buying 1 blood claws kit? This kit comes with all the heads, shoulderpads, backpacks, weapons and gubbins you can add for basically anything.

I did primaris scale Grey knights, 30 terminators (20 regular 10 paladins) and 10 purifiers, plus characters, and I had to buy 6x boxes of Grey knight terminators, 4 x boxes of the new terminators and 2x boxes of deathwing knights, a grey knight strike squad and two boxes of sternguard veterans, 3 dreadknights (and 3d printed bits to make them look less baby carrier) and 2 land raiders,

I'd dread someone looking through my Ultrabois and pricing them up 😐

No Regrets! Think about all the hours of entertainment you got kitbashing, painting and then playing with all of those. I love Warhammer as a hobby, unlike so many things we spend money on, this (while so expensive) gives a great return on the investment. Even after years and years things can be repainted, added to, changed, upgraded and even sold if needed.

I saw a chaos space wolf fellblade once, and thought it was kinda slick. And I sometimes think of the pile of the old heresy decal sheets that came with every box that had sisters of battle in it for my custodes that I never finished, a whole transfer sheet for thousand sons and space wolves all so you can get those forehead tattoo decals for sisters you won't use anyway. I think of these things, and think "Hmm I could do some Dark Wolves blackshields for 30k and use them for CSM in 40k" Then I remember that I have like 6 armies in various states of assembly and painting and stop myself before I do something stupid.

Idk why they didnt wait until after 10th ed to make new 11th ed SM and Nids CP with the starter boxes, like they did in 9th ed for the Necrons. Hell at the very least they could have pulled the other models from the 10th launch box that werent in the starter boxes and made CP's that didnt overlap the starter boxes. I approve of about half of the new CP's so far with Necrons and Custodes being the best and the Sisters and SM ones being the worst. As someone who isnt a GSC player, I think the new CP is equally as valuable as the last one because for one its an expensive army and doesnt get box sets often. And two, the new CP doesnt overlap the old one at all so buying up a couple of each of the CP's was defintiely the best time to do so.

Is it still viable with starting a Custodes army to get one of the old and one of the new combat patrol boxes instead of 2 of the new? Just for the sake of variety
