Thank you for showing specifically how it looks in app while mobile ordering with the dining plan. This sorted some of my confusion on adding specialty drinks to quick service meals to make sure they were included and not wasting a snack credit on top of meal credit!

If I have the DP and eat at Ohana with my family of 3 for dinner can I receive 3 specialty cocktail beverages for all of us even though say only me and my wife intend to drink them? Or will they say no because my son is 19 even though he has no intention of drinking it?

This is a once in a lifetime vacation for us (we live in AZ) And our first time going to WDW. I Wish I found this video before booking my 6 night stay in July! We purchased the DDP with table service (3 adults/one 18 yr old who obviously can’t purchase the alcohol) and after your video I’m realizing I shouldn’t have done that 🤦🏻‍♀️probably lost $ on that decision.

This is a HUGE deal and I hope this leads to MvC4 development. There are tears forming as I type this. We are so freaking back!!! This is like the first chapter of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, where the wizarding world is celebrating the boy who lived and the seemingly demolishment of Voldemort, but real life. People are going to get sick because who knows “where the flies have been before they land on the food” I personally wouldn’t eat food with flies. Also snorkelling with zero Disney things to look at is disappointing - aside from the merchandise WHERE IS DISNEY? Where is the theming? Listen I am ALL for embracing another culture BUT people are paying for a DISNEY CRUISE - this island looks like it could be for any cruise line

My family and I stayed at the cabins a handful of times and I absolutely loved it. I feel like it’s lost its warmth :< I loved the old restroom, the old kitchen, the old eating area.. It doesn’t seem like it’s going to be enjoyable.. also.. where are the drawers for the people sleeping on the Murphy bed??… in the old cabin there were these random like.. desk space area type things on each side of the TV and that’s where I’d set up and do my makeup with natural sunlight.. and yeah it’s cool that there’s a sink outside the restroom.. but.. the personal space was nice.. ahh man.. this kinda blows :( my family and I are staying here on July 10th.. not looking forward to it :< wish it was the old cabins :/

To clarify… you can use a child credit at the Starbucks in the parks and it will include a sandwich and any size/any drink? Like a large Frappuccino with extra shots?

The food is COVERED in flies. It’s not even edible. Disney has a lot of work to do to make this a place worth going. That walk from the pier and the lack of shade is probably a huge no for a lot of people. And no tram for that walk! Yes there is one on the island but they need something for that pier. That’s the longest pier I’ve ever seen. Princess Cay through Carnival had the same food and the same issues with flies at their buffets too.

I think most that had positive videos about the island were travel agents, and they didn’t wanna ruin their business but the reality is this island shouldn’t have opened up yet and it has a lot of work to do

Wow I can’t believe some of these comments. I just got off the inaugural sailing and I think most people agree with everything in this video. The beach is beautiful. The water is clear. The sand are perfect but there’s so much they need to improve on. I didn’t hear anybody on the ship after we got back say that it was perfect and that they enjoyed it. There was a lot of negativity. There are things that will fix and the island will be great ONE DAY!!! But for most it was a nightmare. at least half of the ship didn’t even get off on the second day. There was an outbreak of Norovirus. I myself was miserable the last two days on the ship. I believe it was from the flies. Again the issues that I saw, including the very plain desert like views will be eventually updated. However, with all of that said, I agree with pretty much every sentiment in this video !!!!!! 😢

What gets me is how do you have that walkway with no shade haven’t learned anything from the Bahamas. They added shade but most of all I don’t have benches for that walk ..

I get the complaints about the flies and the walk, but Lookout was always planned with the idea that the Bahamian culture would be the spotlight. Its not Disney's fault you dont find their particular cultural songs, dancing, and festive clothing alluring 😂.

I just got of the cruise ship this morning...the flies are 99% gone they resolved the issue with a chemical...the walk is long...but unless you are lard butt it's only half mile and not that bad

I’m sorry but the idea of putting Hawaiian/pacific cultures there just because it’s island and ocean culture is ridiculous. Disney is trying to respect and collaborate with the Bahamian culture and regardless of how well that’s done, the pacific cultures are from the completely opposite side of the world to the Caribbean ones.

The flies thing is concerning. I would be tempted to skip eating on the island.

Of course they knew about fly problem …they had those little fans. They knew they didn’t plant anything until right before the cruise…they need shade! No excuse not to have shade and seating! Serenity bay is horrible and the furthest away with no special tram. I have a cruise in a year and I will be watching and I will cancel if not fixed. This is not good. Plus it’s too far away to go back to the ship for lunch.

I am booked for both islands next year…Hope it improves! I am disappointed in the lack of shade, trams, seating.

That’s what I’ve been telling my friend. We are traveling together and she wants to only go to Lookout Cay. I know it’s cheaper but now I’m starting to see why. 🤦🏾‍♀️ I feel like I’ll just keep comparing it to Castaway Cay. 😢

I appreciated the comparison to VDH in your video. As a DL local, I've toured those rooms and they are so gorgeous. I was planning on buying Poly, but this really feels like a step down. Hoping the video lighting was just off (and the host being dressed in beige didn't help)...hoping there are better things to come.

*update* just saw a new review of the Southern Eleuthera Eco & Historical Tour saying it was very nice, visiting an old church, cathedral cave, boiling hole & ocean hole, hike through woods down into a cave filled with bats on the ceiling, got coconut and honey treats at the end. Another different reviewer said it was fun but a long ride from the ship to the cave and back, running 30 minutes late back to the ship, with NO TIME ALLOWED FOR SWIMMING at the boiling or ocean hole.

I totally agree on many of your points. The buildings look so basic and cheap they look like they used standard building materials your would find at Home Depot like your standard white windows. All of the furniture such as beach chairs, umbrellas, eating area, kids wagons and strollers all look like what you can find on Amazon or Walmart with no thought involved. They didn't even try to brand anything. If I'm going to spend $$$$ to visit a tropical island I want it to feel and see unique things and not something I can find back at home.
