Better in the open world. But usually same. Some boss fights like Shaelmaar or Cloud Giant might be a bit more demanding, but I highly doubt they will be more demanding than running through Hierarch Square, sadly I do not have saves to trigger these boss fights. My save is complete game with I guess all bosses defeated. I'm still learning how long and what should I show in the video, and I was thinking about including some fights (I've tested fights, because I've played it for a bit recently, roaming around the world etc.), but I found 24mins video long enough. Can do something later just for you if you are interested to show you how it runs. Just tell me the settings you will likely play on.

Hey, yes it is and I'd say unreasonably. In the posted video in description by @Mostly_Positive_Reviews‬ you can see he got spikes to 90% of usage with Intel i5 14600KF, much stronger CPU.

@alfiplays5322 Sadly that was the issue of the overlay, my mistake. I was doing complete rework of my overlay and this stayed broken. In reality my CPU was running on 4000-4050MHz. It is fixed now and I’ll add it to the description.

@@midderftw oh ok.. because i have some weird stuttering going on with my 5700x3d but maybe the problem is something else. first video on my chan if u wanna take a look. the longer i play the less stuttering... tried 2 different GPUs, changed RAM, new PSU, i'm out of ideas.. maybe faulty mainboard? xD

Hey, this is default preset from the factory, I did not want to change it for the video. This model of 4070 Super is running hotter, and it is seen in article on techpowerup.com (www.techpowerup.com/review/gainward-geforce-rtx-4070-super-ghost/). But yes, I did tried, and I have it undervolted by .115mV, so temps are in different league, and at the same time I was able to make frequency more stable and slightly higher. To avoid questions like this even though temps in mid 70s are completely fine, in future video I will use my preset.

Hey, I actually do not know how to track it currently. Adding FrameView overlay on top of what I have just for latency is not something I want, and I do record everything with Nvidia Shadowplay as it has extremely good quality/performance ratio so I can't record Nvidia's overlay. OBS is just too heavy for recording, and I do not have 2nd PC or capture card that can take care of it. Also Nvidia is showing only PC Latency, which might be good to be shown, but it's not End-to-End system latency, so it does not track your display latency and peripheral latency. Usually the best time to turn on Frame generation is when you are close to 60fps without frame generation so it has the lowest effect on input lag. Immediately after CapFrameX add support for at least PC latency, I will add it. To that moment I will not do that, but I'm open to suggestions.

@@midderftw well some kind of input latency is relevant, since I've watched other videos showing the affect of FG on/off, just a thought.

@@RedlioNxTR Feel free to link me these videos, I'll check how they do it. Because I actually do not have idea without using other recording software. I don't know what program can track PC Latency except for Nvidia's FrameView.

No, thank you for your effort. Anyway I do use this settings because I feel like I can see the best and it does not look so shitty. For example Object shadows do affect FPS, but the game looks way better and not "flat". Before I posted this video, I've searched for people's settings and basically everyone is running different settings, so it's really about personal preference what you want to sacrifice - visuals or framerate.

I’ve lowered the resolution to 1600x12 something , max frame limit is at 60. Everything on low FSR Native AA Nvida on+boost and ai generations on. I’ve got it to run pretty stable at 60 fps with frames dropping to 17-30. Im pretty upset I went out and bought a new computer with all the bells and whistles but I can’t seem to play this one game but my friend with a potato computer can run it fine.

Hey @cjerp is your testing in this exact locations? Because game is really unequal and some areas are way more demanding than others. I picked this street, because I've found it as one of the most heavy areas in the game. To my bottleneck: you can see my GPU usage is way above 90% while CPU is hovering around 50% of usage. So no, bottleneck is not an issue in this scenario at 1440p@Epic settings. Higher frequency might help, because it's only 4050Mhz CPU, but not by much, usage of all cores is about the same around 50%. I've seen some tests with much faster CPU's (7800X3D or i5 14600KF) than mine, and in the end it's pretty much the same. It's very much possible your CPU is running at higher frequency, and that together with about 10% faster GPU than mine might give you that difference.

Hello @danielmolyneaux6810 That's very hard to believe you run at 120FPS with 4070, because I've seen zWORMz Gaming testing RTX 4070 paired with 7800x3D he happened to be running on the same place as me, and he got around 100. After this last update with the same setup my game was completely unplayable.

5700 x3d the best with 5800x3d for this game.

I do have occasional temperature spikes on my CPU to lower 80°C while flying. It's interesting, because not even rendering this video in Vegas Pro was not able to push temperature above 77.7°C, and CPU usage was way higher obviously.

Fsr is shit

Hey, I tested it, but FSR Quality offers about the same performance as DLSS Quality, but I cannot test FSR's Frame Generation because it simply does not work on my rig. It's doing nothing.

Like midder said, a lot of the faction quests are the same quest over and over. I noticed this for the PvP mission mostly where they ended up being the same 3 pvp missions every single time. So yah they need to add more. but this is certainly creative way to use there respawn system

He's actually getting 2 seperate quest groups whose location happen to be right next to each other. Pride of Puckett and Hecker's Haven. The lack of variety means it only switches between those 2 quests, which happen to be right next to each other. I doubt all the towns' objectives are always so close that you can abuse it in this way, but this guy found one it work in and it's OP af.

​@@midderftw It's better to go out to the Badlands where you got it. I've tested this one myself at Level 50, and the one you buy from Karim is always stuck at Rare Quality. For those who don't know, the Epic Quality version has better stats + 1 more mod slot.
