After searching for so long for an aggressive carbon fiber front lip for the sonata, I came across this one. In this video I finally put it on and the result is amazing. Cant wait to do the rest of the aero parts.

I want to start by saying to message any company or seller that is overseas about products for US spec cars. I didn't and this is what I got in return. Would I have to take off the whole seat to get into the shoulder arm rest.
How could I remove shoulder rest without removing all seats
You removed all seats in pervious but can I remove only a certain part just to get under there
You do have to remove the bottom seat part if its the first time because there is a bolt you need to remove from under it to then remove the shoulder piece. When I out mine back i didnt out the bolt back just so it can be easier for me to remove it later on.

@@shaqene23 so we could just remove the bottom seat and shoulder rest to get to attenna
Thanks for the vid. I was curious about the right rear wire harness because that’s where the right rear abs wheel sensor connects to the main wire harness which I believe runs along the right rear seat or at least the seat bumpers which you removed last in ur vid.
My antenna cover got lost on the highway. This was very helpful that I can get it replaced fast and easy. Great job!

I bought my cover on Amazon for $24.95. It is a slightly darker Grey then my Hyundai sonata truffle color, but it looks great. Thx for the vid.

So I did some searching and the part number you want to look up is 96210-C2000-WW8. Now on Ebay you may be able to find some for lower prices but it seems they have gone up like crazy. Hope that helps.

Awesome video. Very detailed of what we are going to find up inside the headliner. I put the back seats down which allowed me to get even more leverage and view of cable/bolt. Took me less than 15 minutes to remove and install. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Wow I love how you take your whole car apart. If I tried that I’d surely ruin something. Why the F did Hyundai design such a stupid thing that so easily breaks off and then requires you to take the inside of your car out to replace. Idiot engineers!!! But thx! I’m not doing this though. I think I’ll do the super glue way.

Thank you for this video. I searched the comments for this answer and did not come up with a solid answer. So here it goes. I have the green fin on my 2016 Sonata. Is there no Simple cover replacement? If so do you have that link? Mine is silver.

That is the link to the oem parts site. Unfortunately there are no good silver ones i could find. However if you search your correct model and then find the right part number. Put that into eBay search and you should be able to find exactly the fin you need. And then make sure its obviously your preferred color. Hope this helps.

Nice. I saw that same 3-piece lip on eBay. I was thinking about getting it as well.😊 It looks good and you did it the right way! I was looking for a 1-piece smaller lip though, NOT the roll-up rubber lip, but the 1-piece lip. I found one, but ebay wants too much for it. Idk. I might STILL end up getting it though...

Hi,I have sonata 2017 and my antenna cover popped exactly as yours. the link you have provided is just for an antenna cover. But in the video you are replacing the entire assembly. Where did you get your antenna assembly.
I didnt replace the entire assembly. I took what was left of my original and installed the new cover on top. The original bottom cord and chip were still attached to my roof. Hope this provides some clarification.

I have a couple of questions first will this work for a 2013 GLS Hyundai Sonata and if not what’s the difference between the two antennas?
The difference would be equipment, shape, and roof attachment. The 2013 is entirely different from what ive seen looking at the parts diagrams from both.

I just have some seat covers I have struggled to get installed because I can't get the butt part of the backseat out of my 2022 sonata. I took them out of the two front parts, but can tell it's latched down on the side keeping me from getting it out. I see in your video it's that part that you're saying the metal piece is latched into. I don't have to remove the top portion of the seats to take out the bottom portion, do I? I can't figure out how to grab the bottom to unlatch it from that metal part.

Hi - Costco car wash knocked off the cover which I was able to recover. Antenna still works - no rain here in AZ. What should I use to reattached the shark fin over the existing antenna? Super glue? obviously I'm worried another car wash will knock it off again
So you should either find double sided 3m tape and cut it to size or order a new one and reattach it via the required screws. Those are your best options and also stay away from that car wash haha. Thanks for the question

The same thing happened to me. I bought mine from Shark Racing and the ones I had gotten was different from what was required on my 2019 Sonata.

Me too! With the push button start and the push button garage door I have no one to blame but myself for backing out with the door coming door after pushing the door button twice. Duh!!

I was able to buy a new complete assembly and am waiting for a warm day to tackle this project, unless I can find someone nearby who will take care of this for me (without destroying the headliner) for a reasonable price. My Hyundai dealer wanted $1500 to do the work.

You can go to any Oreillys or Autozone and find a set of interior trim removers
Is it possible to just buy the components inside the shark fin? Mine has GPS, satellite radio, and everything else. I just need the name of the components and I'll keep my shark fin. Hyundai dealership tells me $320.00. Thats a it much....
