I put two foam slip over filters over my filters inside the vacuum cleaner and that works well stops them from clogging up give it a go the phone is only 10 mil thick but you can make one. Give it a try. Best of luck.

I always square up the saw when out of the box because it may look square but it could be 1mm out over 300mm.

Myself I charge per day or half day etc. I might add some or take some off depending on what the job entails. But overall I want paying for my time, experience and expertise. Great job again.

I’ve had my Dewalt since Christmas so it’s been 8 months of constant usage and let me tell you guys… this is the OG of mitre saws. I have abused the factory blades with composite, treated timber and hard wood! And the blade is still sharp and as good as new. 💯 recommend it to anyone who is interested.

Once you total a job up and where you use both the apprentice and another carpenter can you advise how much you pay each? Or can you advise how you will go about paying them so i can know what to expect roughly. Other than that great video as always. 💪🏾

I doubt its best mitre saw. I have lots of tools from dewalt but I would never get mitre saw from them. Too big, too heavy and adjustability it's not as smooth and precise as I would like to be. I bought festool and it is day and night. It's like to compare some primitive hand tool with Swiss watches literally 😂 I don't understand why dewalt doesn't design their mitre saws better like fine finish product that works well not like rough tool that's not very user friendly.

*The DeWalt Dummies didn't make an AC/DC adapter shoe, as they did for its predecessor- just to sell more batteries... SKIP!*

Question for you then - What do you prefer a battery powered mitre saw or a wall powered miter? and why?

I'd buy some nice new tools but I'm sick of having them stolen. Just going to make do with the one's I've got. They aren't worth anything so fingers crossed the thieves leave me alone.

Spot on mate im building one in my front room ive been a joiner 22 years and id do nearly everything the same as you so you dont need any help. Im gonna cover it in wood veneer vertical slats though and put a finished kitchen panel around the perimeter of the tv and fire the colour of the front room for it to really pop.

Carpenter of 40yrs, watched a few of your videos, quality of work and attention to detail is faultless, if I could give a bit of advice I would say for a top class tradesman like yourself I think you should be charging a bit more than you do, also I think at times you are stretching yourself a bit, only saying that as I see you have a young son and I speak from experience, just remember there is more to life than work and you are only as good as your last job. Me and my uncle built the same design but it stretched from wall to wall and was plastered and painted
