MATBOCK ARD Sight Overview - 2024
The Aquire Read Deploy (ARD) weapon sight is designed and manufactured in the USA. Made from anodized aluminum and mountable on either side or top rails, the sight has a digital LCD screen that outputs the range of 40mm projectiles given the angle of the weapon, the weapon system, and the round used. Currently, the sight is configured for m203, 320, PGL6 weapon platforms as well as multiple rounds to include HE and non-lethal rounds. More weapons and rounds are to be brought online and each weapon sight can be updated with the new software. The simplicity of the sight is what makes it so adaptable in a firefight. Simply estimate the range of the enemy and raise the weapon to achieve that desired distance. After the first round impact is visualized, the operator can adjust fire to bring him/her on target very quickly.

That is awesome. Much less bulky than a quadrant sight and it should be more accurate than a leaf sight.

Did you say it had a Helo Lanyard?
Absolutely, it’s integrated win the belt. It retracts back into the belt as well.

This is way out of price for the average end user. Govx has it priced for $15,000. I could see using this as a pro contractor or at 10th Marines. Very useful device for MOUT operations.
It is a lot cheaper than the $50/60K units it is replacing.
That bag is over 900 dollars. What a rip off....
The insert that is shown in this video is only $550. www.matbock.com/collections/grave-robber/products/gram-insert-with-shoulder-straps?variant=44834044182760 Or you can get the larger medical bag for $940. www.matbock.com/collections/grave-robber/products/gram
Ouch, $625. Awesome kit, but this isn't cost effective for us civilians.

Do we know what pouches he used to store the two TQs on the front of his bag?
Yes. Those are by Sentry. sentrytactical.com/sentry-xl-softt-rapid-deploy-tourniquet-sleeve/
I bought a pair of Eclipses from you but now ran into a problem running an eCoti, I can't use them, is there anyway to make them to fit inside the the outer tube to allow clip on devices to work?
They will not fit with the eCoti, but if you’re running duals, put the eCoti on one eye and the tarsier on the other.
Have rode in a ton of them, I think there is a civilian market if they made an affordable non-armored version, or a frame off swap for some popular heavy duty trucks. BAE sells a civilian RG33 but they are $400K.

20 year FMF Corpsmen here (still active). The best bag system in the game right now. MATBOCK. Has thought of it all. From working on the X with the March belt, moving to the Casulty Collection Point with the sustainment bag then PCC woth the ruck system. All the space you would need.
Much appreciated it!
Any idea on the blood box? Looks like it is homemade? Tegris with some insulation?
We will reach out to them and see, but it does look like something that is more homemade.
@matbock thanks… love my GRAM and this video gives some great ideas. My only comment is the lack of hypothermia prevention kit.
@@Jimmurray67 he uses our r-lift that has a built-in thermal blanket.
@@Jimmurray67Well, he also has a chest kit and a MARCH belt, which in theory should address hypothermia. This bag load out is just designed to continue aid for ACLS after BLS has been initiated. But good point all the same.

One of my eclipse is so old it doesn't say *MATBOCK*
That’s OG right there!! Appreciate the support.
I love my Tarsier Eclipse but ran into a problem when I added a Jerry CE5 to my night vision set up, you can't use a thermal clip on with the Eclipse, wish there was a way to run both.
if youre using dual tube (or more!) night vision you can still use a clip-on thermal, just not on the same objective lens. Use the Tarsier over your dominant eye and the thermal on the other eye and enjoy your fused image with sharper IR side.
Already stated, but in our experience, if you run the thermal on 1 tube and run the tarsier eclipse on the other, you get even better performance since you get the fusion coupled with near & far clarity.
What about the PVS31D? (different sized than pvs14 type setup)
Yes the Tarsier Eclipse will fit on the PVS31D
Are there ones that fit PVS 51?
They should. All you need to do is check the outside diameter with a pair of calipers. If you don’t have those, wrap a string around them and measure the circumference. Then take that circumference and convert into the diameter. We offer either a 37mm or 34mm, which covers 99% of the NVGs that we know of.
Is this able carrying 117G?
No. It wasn’t designed for that. It was designed to hold PRC-152, VDL, SADL, & HHL-16 comms equipment.
@@MATBOCK Thanks for your repsonae. Do you guys have any plan to make packs for 117 or other bigger PRC series?

Email sales@matbock.com so they can assist you.
I did more research into the model I had: I already got a Used PVS 18 Tarsier as my assembly was actually an oem PVS 18 Objective assembly with the focusing dial.
This what you have already works?

Hello @matbock, does the 34mm fit on the mum14/mini14 very well? Doesnt found any Pictures for this nvg.

Blue belongs in the union
Available?
yes these are available
hey you kind of got away from the daytime question: will these protect my device from daytime when they're closed?
Our recommendation is to not use these during the day. If you’re wearing your goggles during the day, we recommend getting or using the rubber caps over the tarsiers to protect the intensifiers. Does that answer your question?
@@MATBOCK it does! i had heard of kinetic consulting describing these as daycaps and I was wondering if they'd be a good way to keep my device protected when i have it off and stowed on my antlers as i move around. it's sounding like the answer is "no"
@@MATBOCK which is fine, i'll still need them for taking photos through my tube, so i'm happy with the purchase
@@madeleineollerton5993 these are great to help protect your goggles and the optic lens but again we would put rubber caps over them if they are going to be exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time. That said we all keep our on our goggles stowed in bags when not used and do so without any rubber caps. We really only use the rubber caps when the googles are going to be exposed to direct sunlight
It's kinda like magic only different.
