Very deep, balanced, and beautiful tone ❤❤❤, really a master violin.
Waw!
I used to play cello but now I play bass but this still amazing
Thank you! It's a lovely cello!
And the chords pirastro Chrome cord?
Beautiful playing. The tone of the first sounds similar to Stuart Duncan’s to my ear.
Beautiful! Brings so much more delight with headphones 🎧 too!
Agreed! Headphones are definitely the way to go!
Beautiful!
Thank you Steve!
Belíssimo
Es verdad que todos estos violines antiguos están reformados para sufrir la presión de las cuerdas de metal?
I liked the first one. I like the emotion you play.
Very nice E string, what string did you guys use in this setup?
Hi there, the strings are Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Gold!
@@bowsforstrings okay thank you..
very well played ^_^
It is a joy to listen to Markiyan play!
*Parabéns lindo som para meus ouvidos*!!!!*
Yes!I have a Stainer (1890) 4/4 and it has a profound and sweet sound like the first You play. 😊. And it is really beautifull. It has an increíble thin neck, more than my other stainer 3/4, it's confortable to play for my small hands. I don't know if all Stainers 4/4 has thin necks. I love it because, for me, it's unique.
That's beautiful, Marta! Sounds like you have a wonderful violin for you!
What was the first song played in this video? Sounds familiar, but forget the name. Thanks for the video demonstration!
Maybe you forgot about this or already found the name, but it's the old English folks "Greensleeves". I love this song too.
@@milktea5829 thank you! 🙏🏽
Beautiful!
Iam a crazy Beginner I have the X5. I want to buying the X7 is it very better??. Thanks for your Answer. Only your Opinion is important for me. Thanks from Austria Your Thomas
Both the X5 and X7 cellos are fantastic cellos! The X5 will serve you well for many years, the X7 is however a nice step up from the X5!
Hi there, do you guys still have jayhaide instruments for sale?
I bought Jay Haide Vuillaume a big thank you to Kate and Nicholas and the team @ bowsforstrings! The Jay Haide Vuillaume out performed and sounded richer than the german made. Just let your ears do the hard decision making. The team at bowsforstrings are very professional and you feel comfortable and at home when speaking and dealing with them!
This was interesting, but, my bow is considered best when it is very quiet when shooting arrows.
Please help! It seems small for my hand , was it 3/4 ? I got tricked by Shopee shop! The box was 4/4 but there is something off! The violin was loose , there is 1 inch space between the box and violin! Was it 3/4 or 1/2? The box it self was in deed 4/4 , but my hand grab the neck it fill the neck fit 😭😭😭 seems like the shop owner put wrong size! I should complain it 💔
My hand width are 3.3 inch
No 2 good
Just a recommendation, the th in german is just a normal t, so you would say "Rot" but with a long o.
W3🙋🏻
It's hard to tell the difference between the greens and the golds on that cheap violin.
If I may give my two cents: Evah greens are brilliant and last a long time - Evah Gold are VERY brilliant at first but tend to lose sound as quick as 3 or 4 weeks, setting them back to the "green" sound. I personally would just stay on the green set and not keep spending money unnecessarily. I DO opt for and buy a single gold-wound Evah Gold string because it balances well with my other strings. But that seems to be all that the Pirazzi Gold have to offer.
@@liamnevilleviolist1809 Evah Gold are always warmer than the greens when new.
@@LordCarmesimXXVII I've never had that experience myself. But you know, we all have different violins/violas and they all react differently..
@@liamnevilleviolist1809 Just read the information online, from Pirastro itself, or ask any luthier. Greens are brilliant, Golds are warmer, between the greens and Obligato. Very easy to tell on my three violins.
That was beautiful you make me wish I should have continued playing the violin in elementary school
Too nasal a sound, no depth and clarity.
This definitely helps! I do have a question though. Does it matter which strings you place the orchestral mute? I know you mentioned it would be best to place the mute on the D-A strings or the D string. But what would happen if you place the mute on the A-E string or just the E string? How would the sound change?
stradivari euro by chamber sounds amazing! what are the strings used on it? and the bow?
Thank you! It has Larsen Original A and D strings and Pirastro Perpetual G and C strings. I'm sorry I can't remember what bow we used when recording this, it would have been a higher quality pernambuco wood bow.
beautiful. what is the piece played?
Lalo cello concerto 2nd movement
Hello sir. I'm from Indonesia, I want to ask, do you sell violas at a price $700.00 the merk is Scott cao ? Thank you sir🙏
Im getting the Godfriller by chamber soon and I can't wait! Try it out in store the other day and it is so resonant and easy to play! Can't wait for my godfriller to arrive in store :)
Do you ship to Indonesia?
I loved the obligato sound best!
what is the price please?
❤❤
italian,american,french
I can see why some might like the newer violin, since you can hear the articulated details more clearly, but I love the rich sound of the old 😭
Antique sounds warmer.
Enjoyed that. Can’t play anything but I think I could hear a difference (on my iPad lol) the first (older) one did sound a touch richer to me so your description was spot on. Both sounded great to me and of course your playing was beautiful.
The guy plays so fast I feel anxiety listening to him on all of them. Wish he'd relax
I just purchased my 2nd German antique violin. Very functional instruments in my opinion.
Another vote for the Jay Haide. Clarity is evident, especially double stops. The Gill cellos are a bit mushy.
Jay Haide for the win
Another vote for the W3. I think it has the best overall sound, balance, and clarity.
❤❤
What song are you playing? ❤❤
If some high ranking pro violinists played it and they were told it was an original Strad they would proclaim to hear characteristics between all the colors of its personality 🤣
