National Lampoon's Funny Money: Martin Mull vs. Fred Willard (6/22/03)
RIP to the great Martin Mull, who passed away today at the age of 80. Here's a very little known Game Show Network show that he appeared on as a contestant squaring off against one of his best friends, the late great Fred Willard. Martin Mull was one of my favorite comedy actors so this is a loss that really sucks. RIP to him and of course to Fred.

Here's a show not represented enough online in my opinion. My assumption is not all of this is out there or else Game Show Network and/or Buzzr would air more than the handful of episodes from the same handful of weeks that we've seen a lot of times before. Here's an episode from the studio master, including the slate AND the original commercials!! Heck, it's even got a ticket plug, which I ima...

Sadly this cuts off after 18 minutes, but after hearing today's news of the passing of Bill Walton I felt it was time to upload this one. As a child, Bill Walton was one of my favorite sports commentators and I have so many fond memories of his weird sense of humor while calling games for the NBA on NBC, ESPN, and ABC. And I had so much respect for him as an athlete, the original posterchild fo...

Here's the legendary J-Pop group Pink Lady in a 1977 commercial for the Coca-Cola edition of the Sportstron TV-Game, a Pong console that was covered in Coca-Cola branding. Even the controls were shaped like Coca-Cola bottle caps. One way you could win one was by sending in 10 bottle caps for random drawings.

To Tell the Truth #0853, featuring a privacy expert (and secret phone calls of the panel!!)

Here's a rather cute episode of To Tell the Truth from 1971. Our usual Cass/Cullen/Carlisle trio are joined by an old friend, Nipsey Russell, and tasked with some interesting subjects in this episode. Our first subject is a man who is an expert on privacy, and America's growing loss of privacy. It features Bruno Zirato and Roger Peterson, producers of the show, and *HILARIOUS* portions of phone...

I know this one has been online for awhile now but it felt *weird* having the best quality version of this one on here be 240p so here's a slight upgrade. The ABC run of Password deserves it imo. Richard Dawson, Bill Bixby, Hal Linden, and Betty White all compete for the $25,000 prize in the final episode of Password All-Stars from February 21st, 1975. Allen Ludden announces a handful of times ...

Honestly, I guessed the professor when they said their name. Numbers one and two carefully enunciated the name, number three said her name very naturally. It didn't sound like she was trying to pronounce it correctly.
Very interesting! By the way, could you please credit @firststateproaudiovideo9537 for the find? He would greatly appreciate it since he was part of the show's original team that managed to release this gem to the public.
I enjoyed this incarnation of To Tell the Truth. John O’Hurley was a great host!
Is Paula Poundstone rotting in hell yet? Paula is way scarier to children, especially little girls, than Jason Voorhees.
I dont know whats worse butch in munster make up or here on the show that hair. Creepy
I always wished Bennett was my uncle.
Toby Moore was also a contestant on Wheel of Fortune on January 30, 2017 and won $33,900. He made it to the bonus round with the million dollar wedge, but came nowhere close to solving the puzzle. The million dollar wedge was almost on the total opposite side of the wheel.
May he rest in peace 🙏🏻
The current Split Second ( that's on GSN) is ok but nothing like the original and the guy who host America Says who host this new version of SS is nothing like Kennedy.
Willie Mays died 6/17/24, at 93.
He was right on one of two predictions.
Studio 6B?
Warts are painful.
I remember Nancy Vu. She gave hugs, during my Senior year in high school.
WOW!!! That guy was sooo GOOD!!!😱
If not for the Great Bambino, Willie probably WOULD be the greatest baseball player of all time! RIP😢
The Bambino played a segregated game. Willie was the GOAT.
@@ronflatter1235 but Babe could pitch and play nearly any position you asked. That puts him above the rest in terms of athleticism.
This clearly shows how much clothes and hairstyles had changed in the years between how Butch looked on "The Munsters" and how he looked in 1972. And no, I don't mean the extreme Eddie Munster make-up and costumes in the 1960s, but how boys and young men went from short hair to very long hair. And his hair here looks the same as mine did at the same time.
Resembles "Tattletales" a bit.
RIP Willie
Pretty sure this show doesn't exist anymore, outside of a handful of episodes here and there. Much like Season 1 of TTTT with Garry Moore.
OMG, how cool was this?
She was an American Treasure. I remember watching I love Lucy at our neighbors house. They were the first ones on our block with a B&W TV. Before that, we had to watch shows at a shop that had TVs for sale. I still had B&W in most of the 60s but her first new show was B&W. I even watched her 80s comeback show although, it wasn't on air long because culture was changing a lot. It was still America though in the 80s. Lucy got out just in time. She would have never believed America turned out as it did.
Bill Cullen not there. A TTTT rarity.
The panelists have different microphones than usual.
This how they caught the husband cheating
You might want to check that out. Not take someones word for something like that. Even if she is your Mom. But Im thinking there are millions that disagree with her. Ive never heard that myself and Im 87 years old. Just check it out, ok? That way you can watch the show. In my opinion he died too early. A lot of the game show hosts acted that way. Its just their way. But I do get where you"re coming from. I do hope you get to watch the show again. Have a great week.
"Hi, Bi - - - Er, Butch!!" Lololol 😄
How hilarious would it have been if they called a Pokémon in the next generation Frodo
I love Lucy even more after watching this ❤
Nowadays, it'd be a $100 question.
Pick number 3.
that first part of this show had as one of the contestants ..a student from Kent State University... I couldn't help but wonder... if this show was aired before or after the Kent State riots.. in which 4 students were killed.. in 1970... the song "OHIO".. from CROSBY, STILLS, NASH AND YOUNG ..comes to mind...
I wish we could go back in time, also!!! ❤🎉😅

I have never screamed at a TV louder than I did that day, age 16. Yes, the host was right, I was one of those children screaming at the TV. I still feel the pain to this day.

Found Becky’s article in the Corpus Christi Caller. Taped 2/20/78 and aired in San Antonio March 20th. Great to put a visual to the plug!
They were so beautiful and just acting themselves. Thanks for the black pantyhose that women don’t wear now to show their tattoos. Better looking women in the 60s, 70s and 80s. What happened?
Some of the NBC stations that aired the nighttime syndicated Hollywood Squares had their viewers having 2 shows for 1 day. What a value!
That was amazing! And as a long time Double Dare fan, Marc Summers being part of that was the perfect icing on the cake!
Thanks for posting, shame you don't have the whole show.
Thank you Caroll Spinney for bringing us both Oscar and big bird
And 17 days after this aired...I was born into this world lol.
