Wells Carnival 2019 - Behind the Scenes
We're now at our home carnival in Wells. We fix a broken chain, and follow the procession through the narrow streets of the city of Wells.

Wells Carnival Day. A bit different that usual as I'm on the cart performing rather than road crew captain. Inline crimp joints and adhesive lined heat shrink would have been a lot more professional and not really cost any more.

It's an amazing carnival, the floats are incredible, the heat from all the bulbs is staggering, enough KW,s of power between all the generators to power an entire town, s bit too much sword waving for my liking tho, sharpens up the air, makes for a weird vibe

That's nothing the Rose festival in Portland Oregon has five Hugh parades the largest one is the starlight parade held at night it starts at 700 pm and goes to 330 am with six hundred floats all light up and music 300 hundred marching bands it's just awesome

As an ex Globe member back when the most complicated equipment we had was a box of scaffold clips! Its great to find this vid and to see that not only has the club survived but gone on to greater things and up there with the Bridgie boys ! Keep snapping at their heels chaps.
