Advanced/mixed inter group w/ open passing. Everyone was so friendly and worked together so well! What a great environment to practice clean driving and being friendly with your track neighbors. I had to drive my best to keep up with what seems to machine far more stock than mine with a capable driver. Super fun. Until next time!

This was super fun! USTCC Racer and Fastsideways Coach Sean Milburn takes the wheel of Calvin's street yet track capable 370z and we cruise around Sonoma while the sun sets making sure everyone is doing their point bys :)

hey if you got aim then if you got some data then get racerender going to get some data overlay on the video! crazy they had T11 blocked off like that must be a race weekend or something. Nice driving man, most imoportantly good to see you out on track!

Really trusted the dampers and familiarity with the chassis on this one. A few notes from this: I tried to get a good run on the blue civic out of T2, but I misjudged his acceleration as accepted his point by and committed to the pass on the downhill. I feel the S2000's visibility is poor while the top is up/hardtop is on, and the "B Pillar" blind spot is difficult to see past to clear as "safe to merge" The time it took me to try to clear myself to the right is the time I would have needed to actually use more of the right side of the track to better set up the line for 3 I did my best to carefully judge and perceive the speed I could safely carry through there with my newfound line

Gotta slow down ur inputs a bit, it’s one thing to catch the slide and another to smoothly recenter to keep the rear in check

I reviewed the footage and can’t stand to rewatch… so close to being perfect drift but got greedy :(
What’s the tire setup! :0
Front: 225 rt660 take offs (corded) on ap2 stock 17x7 (front) Rear: 225 used westlake SA-07 on ap2 stock 17x7 (front) The westlakes are really good for drift this was the second drift day using them. I finished them off the day after by doing about 15min of donuts. Great bang for buck! Had no delimitation issues.

Those are solid S2000 runs, not even considering the tire setup. I plan to go to the Alfa driving school event with a similar setup on MLK weekend.

Thanks! 11k/11k Sakebomb Ohlins Eibach 32mm front sway bar on soft setting Ap2 front wheels used on both front and rear 225/45/17 bald rt660 front 225/45/17 Westland SA-07 rear Stock steering angle Couple of notes: the 11k spring rate setup seems to be good for staggered wheels and tires, but with square tire setup the s2k owners I know run about a 2k stagger front to rear for example 14k/12k. I liked using 225 square here on ap2 stock wheels because it’s cheap, as often people desire running the larger rears for performance. Also it’s easier for the car to keep the tires spinning and I like to believe this can also help ease some wear on the drivetrain

It's no wonder your tire delaminated, all you're doing is spinning. Spinning ain't winning! Are you intentionally oversteering for dramatic effect, like a drifter, or do you just not know what you're doing? I've spent a decent amount of time working a track, and I've never heard any of the fast drivers tires squeal that much or go that sideways throughout a lap. I bet you lost about a quarter inch of rubber and 5 seconds from all that pageantry

Yes! 225 bald rt660 front on ap2 front wheels, rear 225 all season westlake rears on ap2 front wheels
