non fa lo specchio ma ne è la base.... mi spiego prima passi quell'utensile poi (visto che sono parti spianate) lucidatrice e o platorello, pasta abrasiva e vedrai che specchierà moltissimo (però rendendolo cosi speculare si metteranno in evidenza tutte le micro imperfezioni)

Perhaps trying it with a single ball would work better. Having a single contact point could substantially improve the result. (cheap fly cutter vs a cheap milling head with multiple inserts). Maybe also using an adjustable pretension system that keeps a constant force on the workpiece which could compensate for workholding and offset positioning inaccuracy.
Thank you very much Incomprehensiblue, a single sphere exiting the piece would create pressure imbalances that you would violently find at each entry, pressure compensators yes but it would be at a non-hobbyist level

Спасибо большое Miha, просто одна сфера не годится, потому что она потеряет давление при выходе из фигуры и будет сминаться при входе в каждый поворот. Но оставить два может быть полезно, чтобы один всегда оставался под давлением и инструмент не подвергался вредной тряске. к сожалению я выбрал 5 сфер и они были бы несбалансированными
Very nicely done. Considering the large amount of time and money required to complete the project I would guess you could have afforded a small bench mill, a good showcase for your skills though. Also, you can't have access to both machines without a moderate effort to convert one to another.

Так делают опорные диски для опорных шариковых подшипников. Они встречаются в стойках передней подвески автомобилей. Мне понравилась ваша работа.

У вас слишком завышенные требования😊 Результат получился очень хороший, кроме как полировкой, больше ничем не добиться такой гладкой поверхности. Конечно понятно что на токарном подобный заглаживатель работает лучше, но там шар в постоянном контакте с обрабатывемой поверхностью, а на фрезерном прирывистое. В общем хочу сказать что получилось очень хорошо. Обязательно сделаю и себе такой палировщик. 👍
Спасибо большое IRON , да, инструмент делает поверхность очень гладкой, а с помощью войлочного круга и пасты она сразу становится блестящей, но нужен дальнейший шаг. Если вы тоже хотите это сделать, отлично, но заранее знайте, что это сложный в использовании и дозируемый инструмент из-за металлов и царапин, вам нужна хорошая машина и очень деликатный компромисс в использовании.

Hola maurizio ,creo ,una herramienta que hace un trabajo maravilloso,,merece más que felicitarlo ,,más ,lo bueno que lo comparte ,,,y explica ,todo el proceso de fabricación de una manera tan explícita ,y bien detallada ,de cada paso ,que aquí no hay nada que nos quede una duda,, eso lo hace muy especial ,,a los que conocemos un poquito de este tema ,sabemos que crear una herramienta nueva ,no siempre es excito total ,y si uno logra algo bueno ,que bien nos sentimos poderlo compartir ,

Hi Mauri! What an exellent project this was! Have you considered adding a coolant nipple to the side of the bronze part? I was thinking you could feed the roller constant coolant flow with some kind of built in nozzle. Would that be a helpful addition or just a waste of time? Just my thoughts. Rigidity is essential when performing any high quality finishing including high pressure deformation. The tool would work best if it only protruded just past the spindle nose, maybe about 10mm and used with the spindle fully retracted.

Muchas gracias Jose, sí, esta pulidora funciona bien. El torno parece nuevo pero en realidad está lleno de pequeñas marcas, considere también que la parrilla trasera y algunas láminas han sido repintadas en el horno del automóvil con pintura de dos componentes.

Mi chiedevo se montare le sfere su un supporto a tronco di cono, invece che cilindrico, e lavorare la superficie con l'asse di rotazione dell utensile inclinato rispetto all'ortogonale piano lavorazione, rendendo graduale l'ingaggio di ogni sfera, potesse migliorare la finitura. Grazie tante Mic Bag, non so se ho ben capito ma le sfere sarebbero comunque allo stesso livello tra loro e non potrebbe essere altrimenti, non rispetteresti la planarità del pezzo. Ma credo di avere individuato la criticità irreversibile di questo strumento, ossia il mancato parallelismo tra le creste da stirare lasciate dal fly-cutter e la pista che seguono le sfere.
