Sweet Jesus, talk about clean work. What did you use for the Vanos seals? I had my engine front end rebuilt a 100k preemptively with Beisan seals and it only stopped knocking for a short while.

Some small companies make billet Inline-6 or V8 engine blocks. Why can't they make billet VR6 (or boxer-6/H6) blocks?

i bought a EJ207 sti ra spec c - forged nitrited x drilled balanced to 1 gram ! 7,000 rpm smooth as silk . will do 8,200 !

I thought stock pistons and connecting rods were good enough to race with. I am planning a teardown of my m54 and I was only going to replace piston rings, oil pump, and bearings. Then on the head I want to install solid lifters and schrick camshafts with bigger lobes. Would you recommend I replace anything else?

Awesome video, I have a quick question for you though. I'm currently building an m62 of my own and having trouble finding information on the main cap spacer bushings that sit against the block. Did you replace these at the time of the rebuild? Thanks

at the end you could show whole engine how it looks around, each side, not some zoom like you did. And even better would be if we can hear it like it works. I understand it was maybe not your engine so it could be problem to hear it. But at least you could show like this engine looks complete.

Hi are they forged pistons? I’m doing an engine swap and I’m using the bub 3.2 engine, I want to turbo charge it so looking for pistons as going to rebuild it before it goes in, where you get the chains and gaskets from ?

Therapeutic to watch. I had my R32 engine rebuilt at around 270k Km and driven 30k Km in 4 years since. Sweet engine. Keeping my Mk.5 stock standard other than Eibach springs and Bilstein B8 absorbers.

for the M62 block, did you have to do any machining to fit the double timing chain idler gear or does the M62 block have the mount and threaded holes already setup to mount that?

do you have any information about the 2.5 turbo vr6?

yeah so that timing system was too reliable so they had to replace that central upper sprocket with that stupid U guide on the TU version. techincal upgrade my ass xd
